A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

Chapter 150 Hoping That He Wouldn't Show Up

Edward chuckled and didn't think anything of it. "Sure. You can inform them."

"I'm going to give Mr. and Mrs. Shaw a call and invite them over for dinner, then. I even ordered Cee's favorite cake. I'm going to take it to her now, Grandpa."

"Go ahead." Edward waved and chuckled as he watched Benson skipping away, feeling relieved that the latter was finally ready to settle down.

On the other hand, Theo's marriage looked as far away as it could be. He had never told Edward about having feelings for any ladies. He was well over 30 years old, and his nephew was about to get married, and yet there still wasn't any news about his future.

Edward couldn't help but sigh. He was feeling a little anxious. A while ago, his old friend talked about setting up a blind date for Theo. It looked like it was time to get that going.

Edward was in deep thought and started thinking about setting a blind date for Theo.

After Benson left Gray Manor, he hopped into his car and gave William a call. "Hİ, Mr. Shaw. I would like to invite you and Mrs. Shaw to a dinner at the manor tonight. Do you have the time?"

William immediately responded joyfully over the phone, "Of course I do. Is this about your marriage with Sierra?"noveldrama

He uttered the last part of his sentence carefully.

"Yeah. I'm getting ready to marry Cee before New Year. I need you and Mrs. Shaw to pick a date for us. We can also talk about the things that you two want at the wedding ceremony."

"We don't want anything except for you to share a happy life with Sierra." William couldn't contain the excitement in his voice.

Benson's eyes darkened. He paused for several seconds before he spoke up. "I have a favor to ask of you, Mr. Shaw."

"Speak your mind."

"There's still some misunderstanding between me and Cee. I'm worried that she won't show up tonight."

William immediately understood what Benson wanted. He answered, "Leave it to me, Benson. I will talk to Sierra, and she will be there with me and my wife tonight."

Benson instantly felt better and said nonchalantly, "I appreciate it, Mr. Shaw."

"We're going to be family soon. Save the formalities."

"Alright. I'll leave you to it, then." Benson hung up the phone before he searched for Theo's number. He stared at it for several seconds before he returned his screen to the wallpaper and turned off his phone.

Benson didn't intend to tell Theo about it, nor did he want the latter to show up tonight.

...

Back in the Shaw residence, William hung up the phone and grinned from ear to

ear.

"What got you in such a good mood, Dad?" Xavier asked in a puzzled tone when he saw how uplifted William was. He was lying on the couch and playing video games. There was a bruise on his face where he was injured the last time.

William took a seat on the couch and took a joyful sip of his tea. Then, he said merrily, "Benson gave me a call earlier. He invited us to have dinner at Gray Manor and finalize his wedding with Sierra. He's getting ready to marry her before New

Year."

"Is it happening that fast? I thought things between them had ended. It's a surprise that Benson still wants to marry her."

Vera had just washed up the fruit and was walking out of the kitchen. She froze up when she heard what they said, and her hand trembled. The fruit on the tray rolled off and fell to the floor.

William heard it and raised his gaze. He looked over and frowned.

Vera met his displeased gaze, and she was filled with terror. She hurriedly bent over and picked up the fruit, intending to wash it in the kitchen. However, she heard William's deep voice.

"Just let the maid wash it. Get over here. I need to tell you something."
