Five years later.

"Antonio," I call when he runs fast out of nowhere.

"Daddy." I hear Bella, our daughter, call out and begin running, too.

I look out from the kitchen and see Enzo and smile.

"Hey,” I say, and I see both our kids running into his arms, and he catches them both.

"Hey, baby. Hello, my puppies. He says shaking them both for fun.

"Noah says Madeleine is due anytime." He says and just smiles.

"It is exciting, seeing them get their first pup. But I bet she was nervous. I was. Lunch is ready." I say and go back to put the food on the table.

Five years ago when they went to France, it wasn't good. The pack they had seen the houses, it was all destroyed and burned down. They searched for days before they found Alpha Louis and his family hiding in a cave.

But no one expected that they would find them because Noah could feel something. But when they found them Noah and Madeleine ran to each other's arms whispering "Mate."

Madeleine was Noah's second chance.

All that sat the wheels in motion. Noah marked Madeleine fast the same night, and fast they agreed to wait for the last step to complete the matebond. They had spent weeks searching for those alive, that had not already gotten to one of the other packs. But they only found like fifty, to seventy packmembers that had found hiding spots, too.

As Madeleine now was Noah's mate, they all knew that she would be leaving to live with him. But the rest of her family, after what happened, had a hard time knowing she would go. But then Noah gave him and the rest of their pack an offer to come live in our pack.

ing talked about it, they all said yes to going here, where the could start a new life.

So when they came back, there were almost a hundred extra people with them. To begin with, they had all been given a place to sleep in the castle until housing was found. Madeleine was a sweetheart, with a heart of gold and very humble. She spent a lot of time caring for her old packmember, who had gone here with them. Helped them find the homes they liked and settle in, making sure they had everything they needed.

Madeleine has had several heats since they fully mated, but none have led to her getting pregnant. Dr. Kendra had checked both her and Noah, and she found a problem with her uterus. I told her she might get pregnant but that the chance was not very high. It took hard on her, but Noah assured her that it didn't make him love her less. And two years later and many heats, she got pregnant.

While Enzo had been in France it was confirmed I was pregnant again, after my heat. Enzo was ecstatic when we found out we were having a girl. He said he wanted a little girl who looked like me and could call his little princess. Bella loved her dad, and they had a very special bond, which I think was beautiful to watch.

"Are you feeling okay?" Enzo asked me, and I nodded my head and smiled. "Yes, I am great. Just a little tired." I say and smile at him again.

He started eating, and we talked during the lunch. When he was done, he took our plates to the dishwasher and sat down again. That's when he saw it, the small picture from an ultrasound, and he looked up at me, and I nodded my head.

"We are having a baby?" He asks, and I nod my head.

He flew up from his chair and came over lifting me up so I could put my legs around him, and he hugged me tight. I have had heats too and been pregnant but lost two pups, which is not unusual in our world. So this time, had waited. I found out a month ago after my last heat that I was pregnant. But I had seen the pain in his eyes when I lost the second pup. So this time I waited, and after my visit to Kendra's today, she said this was a safe pregnancy. So I had decided to surprise him.

"I am sorry." He said and gently put me on the table.

"What are you sorry about," I ask him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks and I look at him.

"I wanted to be sure this time," I tell him and he kisses me passionately.

"I love you, Rose, with all my heart and soul." He whispers.

"I love you too, Enzo, With all my heart and soul," I whisper back.

I looked at Enzo, who had begun playing with Antonio and Bella and caressed my tummy. I couldn't help thinking that my life was finally what it should have been my whole life Don't get me wrong, Dad and Mom, gave me the best childhood, a safe home with a lot of love. But this is different and I feel that I finally am and have everything I ever wished for, but thought I would never have.

Our second chance for my Dad and Noah has been our happiness and pure, true

love. And I know we all feel the same way.
