Back in Time: Unshackling From Love (Mikayla Davidson)

Chapter 297

Mikayla was petite compared to the locals, and her features were youthful. Soon, a confident handsome guy came over to ask for her phone number. He even inquired if she was a student in Mochuria.

“Sorry, she is my wife. She can’t give you her number.”

Before Mikayla could respond, Jerome interrupted the romantic atmosphere. RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

Even though the foreign guy had attractive features, he looked normal compared to Jerome.

Jerome’s innate noble temperament could easily make him feel inferior.

That guy said nothing else. He merely apologized and walked away disappointedly.

Jerome grabbed Mikayla’s slender waist without giving her a chance to escape.

He glanced at her when she wanted to struggle. “Do you still want to be hit on?”

“Jerome, can’t you just rest in your room? Why do you have to go out with me?” she complained.

He ignored her, holding her in his arms domineeringly as they walked to the parking lot.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and the food tasted authentic. However, each dish required a lot

of time to prepare and serve.

By the time they finished their meal, several hours had passed. The sky outside had already darkened.

Mikayla had been on the plane and running around for hours. She couldn’t help but fall asleep in the car on her way back to the hotel.

After some time, she vaguely felt something warm approaching from behind her.

The quilt was soft and warm, and the temperature around her was just right. She was so comfortable that she couldn’t bear to open her eyes.

Then, she felt something wet on the back of her neck. She felt slightly uncomfortable and subconsciously tightened her neck.

The other party paused for a moment, and her discomfort disappeared. However, her body soon fell into an embrace. Her head was pillowed against something hard, and she detected a faint woody scent.

Woody scent?

Mikayla instantly remembered something and opened her eyes.

She’d been sitting in the car. But now, she was lying on the bed face to face with Jerome, with her head

resting on his arm.

They stayed close. His handsome face was near to hers. His eyes were deep, and his breath was hot

When Mikayla opened her eyes, Jerome didn’t let go of her. Instead, he lowered his head to kiss her lips.

Her lips were numb for a moment, leaving her dumbfounded. She even forgot to struggle

But he seemed to think of her reaction as consent and deepened the kiss. He clutched her hard as if wanting to squeeze her into his body.

Mikayla’s panicked mind finally returned to normal when her teeth were pried open.

She pushed Jerome hard. Although she couldn’t break free from his strong grip, she at least ended the inexplicable kiss.

She was annoyed. “What are you doing?”

His body was hot, and his voice was hoarse. “Mikayla, you’re my wife. Everything I do is legal.”

“Nonsense! Even if we’re still married, you can’t force me against my will, not to mention we’re going to get a divorce-”

She hadn’t finished her sentence before he silenced her with another kiss.

As if punishing her, he kept devouring her lips violently. He also gripped her body strongly, and she had no way of resisting him.

“Let… Let me go…

was almost out of breath and spoke intermittently.

Jerome released her lips and asked hoarsely, “Can you talk properly?”

She heaved angrily. “Jerome, you bastard! I—”

Before she finished speaking, he lowered his head and kissed her lips again.
