With a few simple words, both people understood Trevor's determination.

Noah nodded and forced out a smile for the man, "I'll try my best!"

"Yes, thank you. When Victoria gets out, ask Alicia to pick her up. I'm in no rush. And if Victoria asks about me, don't tell her too much

They understood that Trevor didn't want Victoria to worry. The two exchanged glances and Holger couldn't help but feel touched, "Trevor, don't worry!"

They continued discussing a few details about the case before Holger and Noah left to handle their respective matters.

Wyatt would probably never forget this Christmas. All because of those two women. It was a memorable experience indeed.

After Waverly left, Wyatt stared at the handbag he got for her and daydreamed. He wondered why he even got two handbags in the first place, and he wondered why he gave her this one. He never really thought about it, he just did that out of instinct. However, now he knew that his body had unconsciously chosen it for him. His heart and his actions had always been two steps ahead of his brain.

She had intruded into his heart without warning. Wyatt didn't know how, where, when, or why it happened, he just knew he wanted to go see her, even though she had just left moments ago. Regardless, he still had to handle things with Raynee. He knew he couldn't go to her, and even if he did, it would be for nothing. In the end, he just decided to sit on the bed and wait as time slowly crawls by.

He wondered how Raynee was feeling about the whole situation. She must be upset. He wanted to give her some time to accept reality, and he had wanted to wait until it was morning in the United Kingdom, but he didn't have the patience. He eventually gave her another call, but still, no one picked up.

Wyatt gaped at the phone. He was confused. "What the h*ll?" He pondered, "Does she even know what's going on? Is she asleep? Or did something happen?"

Wyatt's mind was a mess. He wanted to call someone from the United Kingdom to learn what was going on, but Holger's call came first.

Due to Trevor's sudden incident, Wyatt could only table the matter for later. He cleaned himself up and hurried out of the door.

Victoria was quickly released, but she was quickly escorted out of the station before she could ask about Trevor. For the next few days, everyone around her seemed to be busying themselves with the incident. Frederick Clements even booked a private room and The Four Great Masters met up.

Victoria and Alicia also joined the meeting. Victoria hadn't slept well for days now, so she was in a bad place, mentally. She held onto Alicia's hand, but her pleading eyes landed on Frederick.

"Frederick, I've troubled you. I was the one who stabbed that guy, Trevor didn't even touch him. I was a little dazed, but I stuck his neck and his chest. I really just wanted to knock him out, but I don't know, maybe I exerted too much force...I did it, can you, perhaps, get me to replace Trevor's place?"

She tried recalling what she did, but the memories were blurred. She thought everything was settled when she was released, but Trevor hadn't been home for days!

The concern and confusion were apparent on Victoria's face! It really was a bad year. Just when she thought everything was going fine, this happened.

Victoria didn't even try to hide her emotions. It kept leaking out and the heavy atmosphere filled the room.

Frederick stole a glance at Alicia before speaking.

"Victoria, Trevor will be fine! He's doing what he should do, you don't have to blame yourself for anything, and don't feel guilty! He's temporarily detained, since it's the weekend and the victim has fallen into a coma, so they had to delay the investigation a little! Wyatt also joined the conversation.

"Okay, let's just handle this first! I've done some tracking. Someone wanted to make this big! He had carefully calculated everything, and he notified both the media and the police on time! Even though he's pretty good at hiding, his physical appearances stand out, so we'll eventually find him!"

Nicholas Gail nodded.

"His schemes aren't really that great, to be honest. Whatever he pulled during Christmas night was only meant to affect Trevor and Victoria. I don't think he expected Victoria to stab that man to the point where he almost died, though. No, wait, now that I think about it, Victoria alone should've been the greatest victim. Even though Trevor was known to be a playboy, he wasn't really fond of going in too deep with women. The only woman who was truly close to him was that little cousin of his, and she was an ill girl who had just got home from overseas! They never thought Victoria would be targeted.

If it weren't because of that drug junkie victim, they probably wouldn't be having that meeting at all!

The atmosphere cooled down and Alicia patted Victoria's hand. She tried changing the topic, "Well, doesn't matter if he's a lunatic, the point is, what are we going to do next?"

What should they do?

Carson came back to his senses and replied, "That guy's nerves were severely injured. He's probably going to be in a coma forever. He won't say anything!"

They were all in it together. If one of

them went down, all of them went down. Perhaps it was because they had known each other for too long. they were basically one person. Especially after the Paradise Coffee incident, and also because a drug júnkie was involved, Frederick really prioritized this.

The incident kept lingering on Wyatt's mind as he left East Bannpool. Although he

Wyatt frowned and hung up the phone. He instinctively deleted his call history before giving Waverly a call. However, this time, he received her voicemail message.
