Catherine was wondering if she should help Ryan, but it turned out that she did not even need to offer him help.

"Ryan, you know how to cut open a fish. That's very amazing of you. Have you done it before?" Freya looked at him blankly.

When she cooked with Ryan previously, the fish that he bought from outside had already been cleaned. All they needed to do was cook it. It was her first time seeing this side of him.

Catherine found it so cheesy that she dragged Freya away and teased her. "I didn't know you could say such sweet words now. I've never seen you praise Patrick like this when you were in a relationship with him back then."

Freya froze for a moment before asking," What about Patrick was worthy of my praise?"

Catherine was at a loss for words. Freya claimed that Patrick was not worthy of any praise, which left Catherine questioning who exactly was the one who pursued him back then.

"Well... I was naive at that time," Freya muttered, "There were only a few guys in university whom I considered handsome. Now that I've broadened my horizons, I realized that there are better ones out there. Ryan is good-looking, gentle, considerate, capable, successful, and kind. He's wonderful."

Catherine threw a pensive look at Freya." Both of you have slept together, huh?"

Freya's face was instantly flushed red.

Unable to bring herself to carry on with the conversation, Freya left in a scurry. They had dinner on the second-floor deck.

Ryan had prepared eight dishes. There were two saltwater fish dishes prepared two ways, one steamed and the other braised. There were also lobsters, Babylon snails, and sashimi, which he prepared in the kitchen earlier.

They had plenty of seafood that night.

Everyone was in a good mood and drank a few bottles of red wine.

Freya, Catherine, and Eliza drank quite a lot. Eliza, in particular, drank two whole bottles of wine. However, she had good alcohol tolerance. She might feel a little tipsy, but she could walk steadily.

When they left the ship at 9:00 p.m., Freya walked with faltering steps. She was not drunk. She was just so excited that she fell into Ryan's embrace without being bothered about anything else.

"Do you need a driver to send you back?" Shaun asked.

"No way. I promised Suzie that we'd be returning tonight." Catherine shook her head firmly.

Darling..." Shaun held her hand gloomily.

"I didn't say I'm not going to accompany you. We can do it after Suzie and Lucas fall asleep at night..." Catherine lifted her long eyelashes. Under the street lights, one could see that her face was flushed red from the alcohol. "We're different from Freya and Ryan. Their relationship is secretive.
