CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 1672

Pharaoh noticed the resolute look in Nash's eyes and knew exactly what kind of person he was. He had witnessed firsthand how well Nash treated Nina. Still, Pharaoh couldn't shake the reality that his days were numbered, prompting him to repeat his instructions again and again. Pharaoh had experienced it all-success, loss, and even redemption. Yet, the one thing he couldn't make peace with was leaving his two children behind.

Though he neither smoked nor drank, life was slipping away from him. Pharaoh believed his failing health was divine retribution for the sins he had committed in his past.

He spent hours talking to Nash, who listened patiently, nodding in agreement as Pharaoh repeated his wishes.

Despite trusting Micah to take care of things, Pharaoh still felt compelled to remind Micah, saying, "Don't be reckless. The debts of the father often fall to the son. My remaining time has been spent with Nina, but the Yaren Tribe is now your responsibility. I expect you to make amends and help the tribe thrive."

He continued, his voice softer, "Freya is a good woman. Don't quarrel with her. Treasure her and build a good life together. My only regret is that I won't be around to help raise your children."

Pausing, he reflected with a twinge of sadness, "I also missed so much of Orion's childhood, and worse, I almost harmed Nina and Orion myself. As for Seth... after I'm gone, make sure he gets the end he deserves."

Pharaoh's words were heavy, filled with the weight of past regrets and lingering responsibilities. Memories of his life seemed to flash before his eyes like a movie, every triumph and every failure replaying in vivid detail.

"Let's leave the past behind and focus on the future," Micah gently urged, worried about Pharaoh's emotional and physical strain. "The more you dwell on it, the harder it becomes to move on."

"I know," Pharaoh said with a sigh, his voice tinged with sorrow. "I just needed to get it off my chest. Tomorrow, I want to go out and see the world one last time. You and Nina can come with me. Let's take a family photo along the way-something to remember." Recognizing the significance of Pharaoh's request, Micah suggested, "Let's bring Freya, Nash, and the kids too. That way, everyone can be part of it."noveldrama

"Agreed," Pharaoh replied, a faint smile softening his features.

The next day, they all set out

together. They took two

photographs one of Pharaoh with Nina and Micah, and another with the entire family. Along the way, they stopped at a quiet chapel, where Nina knelt in heartfelt prayer With her hands clasped and her head bowed, she prayed for just one thing: the health and happiness of her family and more precious time with her father.

After descending the mountain, they stopped at a farm-to-table restaurant for a meal. The family shared laughter, and Pharaoh's appetite was unexpectedly robust.

When Nina tried to gently curb his indulgence, Nash gave her a subtle look, silently telling her to let it go.

Pharaoh chuckled softly at their exchange. "Don't worry. I know my limits. I'm old, not reckless."

"I'm just concerned," Nina admitted with a worried smile.

After lunch, they headed to the beach, where the family basked in the beauty of the setting sun. Pharaoh gazed at the horizon, lost in thought.

As Nina walked toward him,

Pharaoh's thoughts drifted to years

ago, when a woman with delicate features and a radiant smile approached him, her every step etched in his memory.

"Do I look beautiful today?"

"You look beautiful," Pharaoh murmured softly.

Nina froze. She realized with a sinking feeling that Pharaoh was caught in a moment of delusion, his mind replaying fragments of the past.
