Chapter 985
After Aurora went back to bed and laid down, she kept rolling around and couldn't fall asleep.NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
Something felt strange.
Sebastian was clearly wicked, having tried to kill her and Theodore. She hated Sebastian to the core and wished he were dead.
Anyone who tried to harm Theodore deserved death.
But... Why did she feel slightly panicked?
The thought of Sebastian going to jail somehow felt wrong to her.
Finally, she recalled something and sat up on the bed.
If Sebastian died, there would be nothing standing between Rosalie and Theodore.
Was Theodore doing this on purpose? Did he send Sebastian to jail so he could get Rosalie and even be a father?
A loose woman like Rosalie wouldn't be upset with the death of her husband, and would surely turn to Theodore in the blink of an eye.
After Aurora thought things through, she started regretting how smug she felt before.
No, Sebastian couldn't go to jail! If he did, no one would be able to stop Rosalie and Theodore.
Aurora was very anxious and gripped the sheets tight. She was suddenly at a loss for what to do. She was so bewildered, tears started falling down her cheek.
Theodore and Rosalie were on the verge of reconciliation. Aurora couldn't just stand idly by doing nothing. She had to think of something!
As she racked her brains for ideas, she soon fell asleep.
Theodore didn't go to his room for the later part of the night.
Aurora had a dream of Sebastian going to jail and Rosalie smugly leaping into Theodore's arms.
At dawn, when the first day of sunshine peeped through the towering buildings and shone on the ground, the city started to stir awake.
The villa was surrounded by lush trees and an exquisitely trimmed garden. The morning air was fresh and the breeze shook the leaves gently, making a soft rustling sound.
The wall circling the villa was made of warm gray stone, gleaming in the morning sun. The lush, green grass in the courtyard lay before the villa, glistening with dew and reflecting the rays of sunlight.
Flower hedges surrounded the wall, covered with a colorful variety of flowers that filled the air with a light, floral fragrance.
A narrow stone path led to the entrance of the villa, flanked by two neat rows of shrubs and colorful flower beds, making for a tranquil yet vibrant atmosphere.
Aurora was wearing a long white dress.
She was also wearing the bracelet Theodore gave her on her wrist. It was a very expensive piece, and there were only five of its kind in the entire world.
Theodore was worried that she might feel uncomfortable wearing heels, so he made her wear flats.
The toes of the heels were encrusted with diamonds which glittered under the sun and sent tiny rays of light
scattering everywhere.
When Theodore went out sightseeing with Aurora, he would buy whatever he saw her staring at through the display windows, be it clothes or jewelry that she was interested in.
Although she would always say that she didn't need them, he would insist on buying them for her.
Aurora was delighted to receive gifts from him. She would kiss him to express her gratitude.
Theodore didn't reject her kisses, and sometimes even hugged and kissed her back.
Giving Aurora gifts seemed to be a feeble and pathetic attempt at revenge.
He had once given Rosalie a bracelet, which she smashed and threw away like trash. Each time he thought about that, his grudge against her would grow stronger.
He decided he would just buy gifts for another woman, no matter how expensive they were.
However, he had to admit that he still felt empty even after doing so.
No matter how much Aurora resembled Rosalie, she wasn't Rosalie at the end of the day.
Theodore brought Aurora to the hospital, and they left the villa hand-in-hand.
