Chapter 93

“I’m sorry I didn’t realize I’d done that. I was just trying to make up for the time stolen from us and get to know her.” Smokey said.

“And I’m sorry but there’s something wrong with her. I get a really bad feeling every time I’m around her. First, she’s living in my house, then she’s hanging out at the clubhouse chasing the guys and sleeping with half of them.” Hanna explained.

“And if that wasn’t enough, she went and got a job at the salon where I work! Next thing you know she’ll be following me to beauty school!” Hanna exclaimed.

“Umm well, since she’s been working at the salon, she’s really liking it and she did ask how to get licensed.” Smokey explained.

“Fuck no! I swear to God if you even try to get her in to my school, I will never speak to you again!” Hanna retorted. “She is literally trying to take over my life!”

“Honey, I think that’s just a little dramatic!” Smokey complained.

“Actually, she’s not. Baby you have totally blown Hannah off since she walked into our life. I’ve been holding my tongue because of my history with her mom. I’ve been trying to be understanding, but hearing how Hanna feels I agree with her.” Sam replied.

“So, what am I supposed to do? Send her away and turn my back on her?” Smokey asked.

“Now who’s being dramatic? We’re just saying you need to manage your time better. Don’t totally ignore your daughter you’ve had for 18 years for one you just met.” Sam explained.

“Ok I’ll do better. I’m sorry I didn’t realize you felt neglected.” Smokey promised.

“We’ve not had any time together in weeks. You missed things that were important to me. Things I needed your support with.” Hanna responded.

“I’m sorry. You’re right I didn’t realize I was doing that. This whole thing has just been hard for me to deal with. But I promise to do better.” Smokey assured her.

“I would never intentionally ignore you or hurt you. Can you forgive me for being so blind?” Smokey asked.

“Of course, I forgive you, I love you dad! But please be careful around her. I don’t trust her and my gut gets in knots around her.” Hanna replied.

“I think that’s just jealousy. Now you have to share your dad.” Smokey replied.

“Dad when have I ever disliked anyone like this?” Hanna denied.

“Honey she’s, my daughter.” Smokey sighed.

“So am I.” Hanna retorted.

“And you’ve not been around her during her 20 years. You have no idea what kind of person she really is. You only know and see what she allows you to. And dad? There’s no fucking way she’s going to my business academy!” Hanna warned.Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

“I hear you loud and clear.” Smokey agreed.

Smokey had a talk with Adrianna about her behavior at the clubhouse. He started spending time again with Hanna. For Hanna things seemed almost back to normal. She avoided Adrianna as much as possible.

Graduation night finally arrived. The whole MC showed up to cheer on their brother’s kids. Hanna kept looking for Smokey as he hadn’t showed up yet. Her and Sam had tried calling and texting but neither had any luck finding him. Jax even tried.

“Mom anything?” Hanna asked again.

“Sorry honey, nothing yet.” Sam replied.

Snake was doing his best to keep Sam from losing her shit. She was pissed off big time. He knew if Adrianna was the cause of Smokey not being here, that Sam was likely to beat the hell out of her and Smokey.

“I swear, if he misses my graduation because of her I will never forgive him! This is one of the most important moments of my life!” Hanna warned.

“Hey kiddo, let’s not jump to conclusions.” Snake cautioned.

“Baby I’m sure there’s a good reason.” Maverick explained.

Hanna kissed Maverick. “I have to take my seat. Love you babe.”

“Love you baby! I’m so proud of you!” Maverick responded.

Hanna, Jessica, and Jasmine all graduate. Smokey never showed. Hanna was devastated. They were all getting a lot worried since none of them had been able to contact him, nor heard from him.

They all left after the ceremony to go to the clubhouse and start searching for Smokey. The celebration was planned for there anyway. Sam, Snake, and Hanna were the last to walk in as they had drove by Sam’s house first.

The whole room went very quiet as they walked into the main room. Sam and Hanna both saw red. Smokey was there with Adrianna. They were both cozy on the couch in the main room. As if nothing had happened.

Sam walked up to Smokey pissed as hell. Snake followed closely in case he needed to stop Sam from tearing into them. Maverick was standing near Smokey waiting on Hanna. He too looked pissed.

“Adrian what the fuck? What could have been so damn important that you missed your daughter’s graduation? We’ve been calling and texting for hours! Lost your damn phone along with your mind?” Sam demanded.

“I’m so sorry! Adrianna was at a party and her drink got spiked and she called me. I couldn’t get to her and get to the graduation in time so I decided to meet y’all here for the celebration.” Smokey explained.

“So, you couldn’t phone or text us? Your fingers broke too?” Hanna demanded.

“I think I left my phone at home. I sat it down while I was putting on my boots and must have forgot to grab it before I rushed out.” Smokey explained.

“Are you fucking kidding me?! SOMEONE please tell me he’s fucking kidding!” Hanna shouted.

“Hanna Grace! I am your father and you do not talk to me like that!” Smokey responded.

Hanna looked over at Adrianna and saw her smirk. There was no doubt in her mind the bitch planned it. Time for tough love.

“Not anymore Smokey. You lost that right when you chose her over me. Now you live with it. I never want to see you again. As far as you’re concerned you only have one daughter! The conniving slutty bitch sitting right over there making a fool out of you!” Hanna retorted.

“And when this whole thing blows up in your face and bites you in the ass, don’t say I didn’t try to warn you!” Hanna screamed at him.

“Oh, and by the way, why don’t you ask Brady, Blake, Levi and several of the other brothers if little miss innocent tried to get in their pants lately? You don’t have to take my word for it since I don’t matter. Maybe some of your brothers can let you in on the type of person she is behind your back!” Hanna warned.

“Hanna!” Smokey hollered as she ran from the clubhouse.
