Chapter 100
I walked downstairs, my heart still racing from the argument with annoyance. I felt so frustrated, I had no idea why he was so freaking mean, he could have come back when I was awake or woke me up nicely not knock on the door like I was some kind of debtor. My head was pounding with a terrible headache, thanks to him and he was not one bit sorry. I was sure he didn’t even realize I was winging just walking behind him.
I wonder what he gained from being so wicked. Why wasn’t he even asleep. He ought to be exhausted from all the shit he me through today but I guess I was the only one tired.
I thought we were done with the drama for the day, but little did I know, another storm was brewing. It was wrong of me to assume anything, I ought to know by now that anything was possible when it came to Aston but I couldn’t just help the fact. that he always managed to take me by surprise no matter how predictable he might seem.
As I entered the living room, I saw him sitting on the couch, his eyes fixed on his phone. He didn’t even look up to acknowledge me as if he wasn’t the one the one that was just at my door. I felt like picking up the ornament that was next to me sitting beautifully on this short and beautiful pillar and slamming it on his head before using the shards of glass to mutilate his a** until he was nothing but a pool of blood on the floor.
I already had an image of him on the floor in my head and I marvelled at how detailed the image was. The mind was truly wonderful. I never used to have such intrusive thoughts until I met this son of a b**h called Aston. He was the reason why all my thoughts were violent and the only thing that was constantly ringing in my mind was seeing him dead. He had turned me into a living monster. Even I was afraid of the things that I would do if I let my intrusive thoughts come to play. It would be so freaking hard to watch.
I was about to ask him why he interrupted my sleep and was pretending as if he did not see me standing when he finally spoke up.
“Hey, I’m hungry,” he said, his voice firm and commanding. “Go prepare something in the kitchen.” As soon as the words escaped his mouth, I thought to myself that I would not really mind if those thoughts that I just had about him came to pass,
Why the hell would he…? What the actual f**k? Was he kidding me right now? Was it like some sort of prank? I didn’t get it Was he even talking to me? I mean it could be anyone, be said “hey” not “Kira”, except it was just two of us in the room.
My eyes widened in disbelief. “What? You want me to cook for you?” I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Me, cook for him? After all he’d put me through? After all that dragging me around like i was some sort of toy and now he was asking me to cook for him. I just didn’t get it.Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
I never even though of food the whole time I was inside and now that he mentioned it, I realised that I was starving too but why did he not mentions this earlier? It really didn’t occur to me that I was going to have to do house chores too on top of all the ridicule that he put me through.
I thought he brought me here to ridicule me and I was not happy about that I was starting to get used to it and now he had to go
and add cooking to it!! What was he going to ask me to do next? Hand wash his underwear?
He was typing away furiously on his phone probably explaining to his mate what he was doing with another woman and where he was. I had gotten the instruction and I ought to have left but I was not ready to accept it and perhaps a part of me was waiting for him to change his mind and order takeout instead.
I was still standing there but he was told engrossed with whatever he was doing on his phone to have my time but I was not ready to leave.
“Are you really asking me to cook for you?” I asked again trying to get his attention or maybe irritate him into asking me not to do anything again.”
He finally looked up, his eyes narrowing. “Did you think I brought you here just to warm my bed? You’re here to do your job, and cooking is part of it.” His words were laced with a hint of sarcasm, and I felt my blood boil. What a nice way to remind me that I was nothing but his slave.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. “I haven’t cooked in ages,” I lied, trying to sound convincing. “I don’t know how to cook anymore.” I hoped he’d buy it, but deep down, I knew he wouldn’t. He looked determined as hell to make me cook and he was going to see to it personally that I did so.
He raised an eyebrow, a smirk spreading across his face. “Don’t play dumb, Kira. You know how to cook. Now go do it.” His tone was condescending, and I felt my anger surge.
I stood my ground, my heart pounding. “I’m not cooking for you,” I said, my voice firm. “I was a Luna before I became your slave, and I never cooked then. I don’t know how.” I crossed my arms, trying to appear defiant. It was not all a lie. It had really been a long time since I cooked anything at all. Even back at his palace, the other maids did the cooking and just made me serve the food. Why could he not get that through his thick skull?
He shrugged, his expression unchanging. “I’don’t care. I’m hungry, and I need to eat. You’re the one who’ll be cooking for me throughout this trip.” His words were final, and I knew I had no choice but I was still going to keep trying.
I refused, my voice firm. “Why didn’t you bring a cook with us, then? Why me?” I asked, trying to reason with him.
He glared at me, his eyes flashing with anger. “Don’t question me, Kira. Just do as I say. Go prepare something edible for me.” His tone was harsh, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.
I argued some more, but it was pointless. He wouldn’t budge. Finally, I relented, my heart heavy with resentment. As I headed towards the kitchen, he called out to me.
“Oh, and Kira? Go change into one of your new dresses first. I want you to look nice while cooking.” His voice was laced with a hint of excitement, and I felt my stomach turn.
I turned around, my eyes flashing with anger. “Why does it matter what I wear while cooking?” I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral because we were the only two people in this home and he could kill me and get away with it. He could even do much worse things too me too so I tried to watch my tone.
He smirked, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “I prefer my food prepared by a beautiful woman. And those dresses are designed to make you look stunning.” His words were laced with a hint of lust, and I felt my skin crawl.
I refused, my voice firm. “Those dresses are too small, and they’ll expose me if I bend over. I’m not wearing them.” I crossed my arms, trying to appear defiant.
He chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “I know they are, Kira. And I like that about them. Now go change, and don’t argue with me again.” His tone was final, and I knew I had no choice.
I seethed with anger, but I knew better than to argue with him again. I headed upstairs, my heart heavy with the weight of my slavery. As I reached the top, he called out to me again.
“And Kira? Put on a new lingerie set too. I want you to look your best while cooking for me.” His voice was laced with a hint of excitement, and I felt my anger boil over.
I spluttered, my anger boiling over. “You’re impossible!” I exclaimed, but I knew better than to argue with him again, Lbit- my tongue and headed to the bedroom, wondering if there was a way that I could get out of the embarrassment that Aston was hell bent on putting me through.
