CHAPTER 9- SHE SAVED ME, I SAVED HER
CHAPTER 9- SHE SAVED ME, I SAVED HER
Ryan's hand stopped mid air, he looked at Jack and then at the girl lying on the bed. She looked
nothing like her but for a moment managed to deceive him who had her impression still afresh in his
mind.
Substitute? Can he ever find another one like her?
Ryan always believed that there was only one her in the whole world; no one could ever replace her,
atleast not the place she held in his heart. But today, not only did this prisoner stir something long lost
within him but also managed to give him an illusion that it was her.
The man silently recalled everything he did in that spur of moment, he took the life of two of his own
men just becua5 they had I'll intentions for her. This was strange because he never cared for anyone
and no one was that important for him to take away lives in anger.
This was not the first time he had some woman in his custody, there were many female assassins who
once tried their luck but we're brutally caught and imprisoned. He had seen the mistreatment with his
own eyes without batting an eyelid, he never felt any kind of emotion towards this. But she... He had to
admit that he lost his sense when he saw her being mistreated, her tear filled eyes that were pleading
for his help were still stabbing deep into his heart.
Ryan, since his childhood, cared only for one person and it was her. She was the only one capable of
triggering every kind of complicated emotion in him. After she left it was as if his heart had stopped
beating and had hardened into a rock.
His hands trembled, he never once thought that else than her there would be someone who will be
capable of influencing his mind. This little prisoner was the one who made him feel something in the
last five years.
This thing didn't come in his mind untill Jack reminded him. This little girl looked nothing like the person
hiding in his memories, she looked as if she belonged from a whole different descent but Ryan couldn't
deny that he felt the same butterflies he had at those days while touching her.
Did... Did he just really find a substitute for himself!
How can he deny, he even gave her the room which he had been preserving for her. He was even
treating her wounds himself.
For some reason absolute anger sprout in his heart, he wanted to yell at Jack but what could he even
say. He was kinda right and his actions indicated at the things which he just mentioned.
Unable to say another word Ryan completely denied it, "She saved me, I saved her. Nothing else!"
Jack quitened down and looked at the man without saying a word- how long was he gonna deny, let's
see.
Ryan tossed the cotton out of the window and walked out of the room. After he left Jack stood mum,
staring down at the girl lying on the bed. He said, "Hope you don't break him in the way she did!" The
girl laid unmoving on the bed as if she were a corpse. Jack knew she couldn't hear anything he said or
what Ryan did to her, with his usual solemn mask plastered on his face Jack walked out of the room
closing the room behind.
Even though Ryan used to sneakily clean that room at every now and then he found it still dirty, he
arranged for the maids and housekeepers to do it without disturbing her. Another housekeeper was
ordered to buy clothes and necessities for the sleeping beauty upstairs.
Gangs like his stayed away from the limelight and stayed detatched from the whole world, the only
thing which joined them and the outer world is the business they were in. So, if tragedy broke out and
someone got wounded like yesterday they were forbidden from going to hospitals. To tackle this a
group of skilled men were always with them and that group had everything- from a doctor to a lawyer to
fight their cases.
The doctor of this gang was called Jule Charles. She was extremely dedicated and experienced to
medicine, their family had been serving the Neguyan clan for ages and it was their family profession.
Ryan and Jule knew eachother since childhood as her father served as the chief doctor of Ryan's
father. The doctor was young and sweet, being a medical genius she talked less and had a soft crush
on the Boss. She would happily wait for him to get attacked so the he could come to her and be with
him.
There were really few women in the group- one was her and the other was an agent called Lily. Thus,
she was surprised to know that she was called to treat a girl this time. A girl? How come a girl is there
in Master Ryan's mansion.
Without thinking too much she packed her stuffs and walked into the car that was sent to pick her up.
Making sure that no one was tailing them Imthe driver professionally rolled the car off the city to an
abandoned mountain range where stood the mansion. Ryan was smoking a cigarette at his balcony
shirtless when she entered, her eyes glued to his perfectly fit body.
Last night when he was bought to her she treated his wounds and saw that carefully chiseled body of
his closely. She drooled to trace her hands on them but couldn't as Jack was right there and it was a
known fact that Ryan never let even a strand of women brush across his body. She walked slowly
admiring but was shunned in her tracks when Ryan gazed back at her piercingly.
The Young Master was well aware of her intentions and had always smacked down every approach
she attempted. He had rejected her brave confessions more than thrice on face- first when he was in
middle school, second when he was in junior high and third was few months ago.
Jule was a bit demotivated about being rejected three times in a row but was shameless enough to run
behind him even though he gave her a cold shoulder. Ryan was not very tolerent and ordered for Jule
to be removed from her post but using her family alliance and convincing Old master Neguyen Jule
made herself stay. She smiled at him but Ryan turned away, treating her as a speck of dust. She
immediately removed her eye's off him and walked into the house, greeting everyone she walked
upstairs to the room where she was said that the patient was kept. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
Jule pushed open the door to see Little Bee sleeping peacefully on the bed with a silk quilt covering her
body. The doctor stopped on her tracks and stared at the young girl's face, a mixed emotion of disbelief
and anger flashed on her face for a fraction of seconds before it disguised back into her professional
straight face. Keeping her bag down she checked on Bee's pulses and wounds, it was not a major
injury. Weeks of rest and special ointments will plunge her back to normal.
Jule explained everything to the keeper before turning around to leave but before she went out she
turned to take a last glance at the sleeping girl. With no particular emotion visible on her face and as if
Bee was noting more than a low life to her Jule tip toed on her heels down the mansion.
After she was dropped off the car and was sent back to her house Jule called her father with gritting
teeths, "Hello, dad... We have a problem in here..."
