The pampered Louise coupled with her temper annoyed the prison guard.

"What now? Do you think you're here for a vacation? If you don't farm, what are you going to eat? Do you think you can get food and accommodation here for free?" Louise cringed when she heard that.

The others were already used to it. Some were weeding the fields while others were plowing the ground, and some male prisoners were spreading manure.
