Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1695

Fiona walked back into the room and found Kimberly awake, though she was still visibly shaken. Even in a place where she was safe, fear held her in its grip, causing her to tremble.

"Sis," Fiona called softly as she hurried over to Kimberly's side, speaking in a gentle, soothing tone. "Don't worry, I'm right here with you."

The sound of Fiona's familiar voice, combined with her comforting presence, seemed to calm Kimberly down. Her trembling began to ease, and her once- distant gaze started to focus. As soon as she recognized Fiona, she fell into her arms, breaking down in tears.noveldrama

Seeing her sister so vulnerable tugged at Fiona's heart. Could it be that Jackson was really in trouble?

"Sis, tell me everything that happened. Those three who hurt you are gone now. No one will ever hurt you again," Fiona reassured, her voice steady and soothing, though it masked the anger simmering beneath her calm demeanor.

Kimberly was quiet for a moment, replaying the past few days' terrifying events in her mind. Her body shivered involuntarily as another wave of fear washed over her.

"Fiona, you need to leave. You can't get involved in this," Kimberly pleaded, clutching Fiona's arms tightly, her eyes red with urgency. "I'm afraid Jackson might not make it out this time. Just listen to me and get out of here. This is more than you can handle."

Fiona chuckled softly, her smile as bright as ever, offering comfort to the frantic Kimberly. "Sis, trust me. If I can save you, I can save him too."

Desperate to find Jackson, Fiona knew the underworld challenges were intimidating. Yet, she'd been navigating these waters since she was a child and had faced all sorts of people. It seemed some forces needed a bit of reorganization.

"Sis, just tell me where he is," Fiona coaxed gently, understanding Kimberly's anxiety.

"He's in Zone G. That's all I know."

Zone G. Fiona's mind raced to recall the place. In her memory, it was an industrial zone, sprawling and complex.

"Alright, I got it. You rest now. I'll have someone bring you some food soon. Don't worry, I'll take care of everything," Fiona assured her, her voice reassuring.

With a swift motion, Fiona used a silver needle, and Kimberly soon drifted into a peaceful sleep.

Stepping outside, Fiona met Jenna waiting at the door. Their eyes met, speaking volumes without words.

"Are you and Chris scared to go there too?" Fiona asked, curiosity piqued.

Jenna paused, considering. "It's not that we're scared, but we avoid it unless we absolutely have to."

This intrigued Fiona even more,

knowing that Jenna and Chris held significant sway in the region. Anything that made them cautious was definitely formidable.

"Tell me more about why that place is so dangerous," Fiona said, leaning back in her chair.

Jenna didn't hesitate and began to explain the perilous nature of Zone G.
