Chapter 7 Blood Roses
On the night when I received my salary, Kelly would inevitably come and knock on my door right on time.
“Dear sister, you’re becoming more and more beautiful.” She entered and embraced me.
In the midst of my usual affection for her, there was a hint of weariness. I had just finished a social engagement, and the money in my hands hadn’t even warmed up.
It was only then that I noticed Kelly, who took the money, seemed different from usual, and the newly bought yellow skirt made her look particularly youthful.
“Dear Sister, will you come to Mom’s house tomorrow at seven? I’ve invited my boyfriend to come over.” Her face carried a shy expression that I had never seen before.
My sister was someone who judged based on looks and was a hopeless romantic. What she didn’t know was that every past boyfriend she brought home ended up pestering me endlessly.
That was also the reason I decided to move out on my own.
I planned to leave quickly after having a meal the next day.
When the door of our mother’s house opened, I was shocked to see the man Kelly was intimately arm in arm with.
The handsome man in a blue suit before me was none other than Jamie, the one who delivered food to me every day.
Jamie greeted me, acting quite naturally.
Perhaps I was overthinking it, and though I comforted myself, a woman’s intuition told me things were not that simple.Property © NôvelDrama.Org.
