Chapter 0062
"Now that I think about, working with hypocritical two faced bastards like you can really kill ones business," Taking a bold step forward, Bethany looked Tobias right in the eyes. "So perhaps, I should have a brief discussion with my mother and have her reconsider that
cooperation between you two."
Amara watched Tobias's facial expression and couldn't help the smug smirk that graced her features. She could clearly see that Bethany's words had struck a chord.
Good.
"You-" Fiona wanted to speak, but Tobias interrupted her.
"It seems Fiona has said or done something that makes you see the Larsen house in a wrong and different light. I apologize on her behalf, and I'd be sure to discipline her."
Fiona's eyes went wide the moment she heard this. Her head snapped in Tobias's direction with lightening speed. "B-brother-?"
A single glare from Tobias was enough to get her to stop talking.
With Fiona silent, Tobias turned his attention to Amara, who had remained silent the entire time.
"Amara," He began, feeling like he should apologize to her for all the things Fiona had said, but before he could get another word out, Amara turned her attention to Bethany, completely ignoring him.
"Bethany, I think we've done enough shopping for the day, let's leave."
Bethany was confused at the sudden action, but quickly caught on and nodded. "Yeah, I agree. We can always come back to shop another time. Let's go."
Amara flashed Bethany a thankful smile that quickly disappeared when she turned back in Tobias and Fiona's direction. She gave Tobias one last look before proceeding to leave.
"You can have the dress, I no longer want it."
As soon as she said this, she walked passed Fiona, bumping shoulders with the woman.
Fiona was enraged by Amara's action, but she knew she couldn't do anything. Especially when Tobias took her by the hand and demanded.Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.
"Let's go, now."
Ah, she was in trouble. Fiona could feel it.
The entire ride home, Fiona tried to explain herself to Tobias, but the male was having none of it.
"Brother, I can explain. She was the one who started the entire thing and now, because of her, I've been blacklisted from the store," Fiona repeated as she chased after Tobias as they stepped into his mansion. "And now, big brother, are you really going to just ignore my words and leave her be?"
Tobias stopped and turned around, the look on his face made Fiona swallow her next words.
"I warned you, didn't I? I told you that something like this should never repeat itself again, didn't I?"
"Y-yes, you did, b-but-."
"No 'buts' Fiona," His tone was firm. "This is
less. last straw. No more, no
less. I'm tired of your childish antics. If you ever pull anything like this again, I'm shipping you out.
Fiona's entire complexion paled and as if fearing the thought of being shipped away, separated from her brother, her entire demeanor calmed down.
"Oh, and don't think you're getting off easy on this one. One week of grounding, you're not allowed to step foot out that door else, you'll face an even harsher punishment."
"One week?!" She exclaimed, suddenly back to her usual explosive and childish ways. "That's outrageous!"
"What's with all the noise?" Giselle, their mother, asked as she walked in. Worry quickly painted her visage when she saw her precious daughter looking distraught. She rushed to her side, taking the female by her shoulders. "Fiona? What happened? Is everything okay?"
"She's grounded mother," Tobias answered. "For one week."
"What? Why should she be grounded? What has she done to warrant such a punishment?"
"She created a public scene-"
"Amara started it first!" Fiona lashed out.
"Amara?" Giselle's expression contorted in disgust when she heard the one name that had been a pain in her neck for years. "That snake is responsible for this?" When Fiona nodded furiously, Giselle glared at her son. "You're punishing your sister all because of some whore? Tobias, are you even thinking straight?!"
"Brother's been so stressed and that bitch is taking advantage of it. She creating chaos amongst us, doing what she best knows how to and I'm sure she's enjoying it. We should teach her a lesson."
"Your sister is right. That disgraceful thing needs to be taught a lesson. She needs to know her place."
Tobias was quiet for a few seconds, but his next words shocked both his mother and sister. "Would you both stop it already."

to Tobias. In the past, he too would have joined them and berated Amara, believing that she was wrong while thinking that the way his mother and sister treated her was right.
