Chapter 2377
Yasmin was quiet but did not look like she agreed with Dominic. C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
Although Yudonia had relatively progressive beliefs regarding education, she had grown accustomed to
controlling everything and everyone in the country, let alone her sons. Therefore, she was upset when
Ross defied her when other Yudonians had to obey.
That was why she got so worked up until she passed out.
Dominic noticed her stubborn expression and knew she would not listen. Instead of trying to persuade
her, he said, “If you think you’re right, then so be it. I don’t give a rat’s ass, and it’s out of my hands.
“Still, I’ll clarify something for you—I can’t help you if you refuse to learn to let go. With your
stubbornness, it’d be a miracle if you lived three to five more years.” Dominic spread his fingers while
speaking bluntly.
Upon hearing his words, Yasmin was so exasperated that she nearly fainted again. No one had ever
said such awful things to her. It was almost like he was cursing her.
Livid, she said, "You… you…"
"Hey, don't blame me, okay? If you continue like this, you might not even last that long.” Dominic took a
step back and revealed an innocent look.
"Asshole!" Yasmin said through clenched teeth. She tried to grab something to throw at him but could
not reach anything.
Dominic skipped around. "Come on, hit me if you can."
Unable to grab anything, she lowered her hand and looked away, sulking. Fortunately, she did not pass
out like just now. It could be that her breathing had gotten smoother after coughing so much.
Dominic noticed her flushed complexion and sat down beside the bed. “Have you calmed down yet?”
Yasmin ignored him.
"Hey, come on." Dominic sighed. He motioned to reach for the glass of water when he felt something
touch his thigh.
He looked down and saw Yasmin hitting him. However, it did not hurt because she had no strength
after what she had been through just now. Dominic remained still and let her hit him.
He said, “Ah, that’s the spot. A bit to the left. No, higher. Not there, damn it!”
