Love’n’Lust

Evading the press

He came up to her and put his hands on her shoulder and her breathing got heavier in expectation of whatever he wanted to do. She didn’t know what was on his mind holding her like that but she knew that this man made her nipples crinkle as they got harder just by the sound of his voice.

He turned her around to face the mirror and once again, she was looking at her reflection but this time with him standing behind her.

He came closer to her, his arms around her waist from behind, he spoke with his lips directly next to her left ear.

“You, you are a beautiful woman Belle.” He told her something he was sure she knew and watched as a smile crept up her lips.

Slowly, he went on to caress her open shoulder with the tip of his pointed nose, making her heart beat faster and her breathing heavier than it already was. He was inhaling her fragrance, he loved how she smelt. His arms got tighter the more he inhaled her perfume, he wanted no distance between them, there was an unusual sense of comfort she provided him whenever he was that close to her.

All of a sudden, he stopped what he was doing, releasing her from his hold which she was enjoying, he was again trying to control himself from getting too close to her.

With the tip of his fingers on her bare back, he pulled up her zipper, making the dress tighter as is its design and making her curve more noticeable.

…..

They both were in the elevator again like yesterday, alone and ready to leave the hotel’s building when Ben kissed her. It was just a peck on the lips from him, he knew he might not be able to kiss her once they were out of the elevator and the public eyes were everywhere.Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

The elevator door opened and he walked out taking her hands like yesterday while she couldn’t get her eyes off him.

She couldn’t help but smile at the graceful attitude he was displaying. He was a different person In the bedroom, in the office, and now while he held her hand.

He had an aura filled with authority that couldn’t be disseminated. Belle thought he carried himself like a prince or a king rather, a proud king which he was. She smiled again.

“Sir.” Someone walked up to him. It was a man and he was dressed in full suit attire. He approached Ben and Belle like he had been hurrying to catch up. Ben stopped to listen to him, it was his head of security running after him.

“Sir, you can’t leave through the front,” The man said, still trying to control how he was panting. Ben raised an eyebrow, not pleased by what he was saying.

“What do you mean?”

“Sir, the entrance is closed, and media persons are waiting out there, they got information that you were spending the night here last night and now the entrance is flooded with newsagents. I already spoke with the manager, he is doing his best not to let any of the reporters get into the building.”

The moment the man said that Belle now understood why she had so many missed calls from Mrs. Johnson. She had seen the missed calls when she was about to leave the room with Ben but didn’t bother to check it.

“I have somewhere to be,” Ben told the man that he couldn’t stay in the hotel just to avoid unnecessary media. Besides that, he had to go to Jenna’s brunch party.

“You could leave through the back, sir.” The man assured.”I have already prepared a car for you, no one will know it’s you leaving.”

“Okay,” Ben said before he and Belle went with the man.

Belle looked through the window as the car drove past the hotel building’s entrance. The man was right, no one actually knew they were in the car leaving, the glasses on the car were all tinted.

She marveled at the sight of the reporters standing and waiting outside the hotel for Ben. She began to ask herself;

What if she didn’t know Ben and he had come to the hotel with someone else or was even there alone?

What if Mrs. Johnson had asked her to come wait like those other journalists out front of the hotel and she didn’t know Ben just left in an unsuspecting car?

What if she had to be under the sun waiting to ask Ben just one question which he might not even answer like many of these important people did? She knew that had to be the reason Mrs Johnson had called her repeatedly but in her defense (Belle), it was Sunday, and the media house she worked for had weekend employees.

She enjoyed staying with Ben and being around him, not just for the luxury attached but Ben himself was one to make her do whatever he said. Here she was, going to a party with him and she didn’t even know what the party was about but she agreed, she didn’t mind as long as Ben was the one taking her there.

She has already spent all morning with him and it was quarter past twelve. If Ben asked her to stay with him the whole day, she would say yes. She surely would.

“Is it always like this for you?” She asked Ben who was using his phone to text someone from her point of view.

He was texting his driver not to wait for him at the entrance as he had already left the hotel. It was his head of security driving the car he rode in now. He looked up from his phone when he heard Belle’s voice, with a keen look he asked;

“Hmmn?” He wasn’t sure he heard her the first time, her voice was soft as always and he didn’t have his attention on her when she asked the first time and so needed to hear her again.
