Luna of the Cursed Alpha King (Helga and Siegren)

Luna Of The 69

DAY OF THE HUNTING FESTIVAL...

Murmurs filled the air as Helga and Siegren finally arrived at one of the biggest forests in Verdentia. It was located in the capital, and it wasn't that far from the palace. Unlike Ardan Woods, Crimson Forest was free of rogues and bandits. However, it was home to many wild animals, making it a dangerous place for humans to visit alone. That's why the Hunting competition was only open to werewolves. Still, humans were welcome to partake in the festivities of this annual festival.

"Good morning, Your Majesty the Alpha King and Queen Luna." Every participant greeted the rulers of Verdentia as soon as they get off the car. Helga felt slightly overwhelmed by the large crowd gathered before her, but she maintained a calm and composed demeanor. Her mate, Siegren, looked unfazed and confident as always. She couldn't help but smile at him, feeling proud of how far he had come in being able to show his face in public.

"What's the matter?" Siegren asked, noticing how Helga stared at him. He wrapped his arms around her waist and drew her in as they headed towards their tent. "Are you feeling anxious?"

"No," She shook her head, a playful giggle escaping her lips. It was hard to believe that just a short time ago, his mere presence instilled fear in everyone around him. But now, as she looked around, she could see that his image and reputation were changing for the better. People were no longer afraid of him, and some even seemed in awe of him. Of course, there were still those who were wary, he was the Alpha King, after all, but it wasn't as bad as before. She liked how most of them were now looking at him with admiration and respect. Unbeknownst to Helga, the people weren't just in awe because of the Alpha King; they were also captivated by her presence. With her red hair pinned up in a high ponytail and emerald eyes that shone like precious stones, she caught the attention of everyone present. Not to mention that she wore form-fitting white pants that accentuated her curves, paired with a matching top and blue competition jacket, and black boots. The outfit complemented her figure perfectly, causing even the other she-wolves to be envious of how effortlessly she exuded confidence and beauty. They couldn't help but admire how well she fit alongside the Alpha King's handsome appearance and commanding aura.

"You looked too beautiful, and sexy." Siegren complimented Helga when they sat down, but then his tone suddenly turned menacing, "I appreciate how they were admiring you but it's starting to piss me off. Should I pluck those bastard's eyes?"

"Come on, don't do that." A gentle chuckle escaped her lips, though she could sympathize with his discomfort. After all, the other she-wolves' lustful glances and whispered comments towards her husband were beginning to make her own skin crawl. It was a relief to see their fear dissipate, but it left her with an uneasy feeling as their admiration turned into something more suggestive. Still, she didn't want to ruin the event, so she pushed down the possessiveness that threatened to surface and forced herself to maintain a smile.

"No matter how much others stare, it won't change the fact that you and I belong to each other. And besides," she trailed off, caressing his cheek to show everyone just how affectionate

they were despite how their marriage started, "They are just appreciating me, not anything else."

"Right, I have already marked you... And that means your mine, and mine alone." Siegren's breath tickled Helga's hand as he held it gently against his cheek, his lips dancing seductively across her palm before planting a kiss. She couldn't help but shudder at the sensation and though she didn't dare look around, she could sense the eyes of everyone lingering on them, watching how openly they displayed their affection for each other. She never thought that she would ever live in this kind of marriage that consisted of intimate kisses and soft touches. For a fleeting moment, she dreamed that someday their marriage would also consist of I love yous.

"Why do you keep staring at her?" Miranda scowled at her mate. She didn't want to start a fight because their relationship was already strained but she couldn't help noticing how Ezra seemed unable to take his eyes off Helga. His blatant staring was pushing Miranda to her limit, and this was making her close to losing her patience with his behavior.

"I'm not,” He turned his head towards his wife and took in the sight of her fiery red hair and green eyes. He couldn't help but compare them to Helga's; when he first met Miranda, he was immediately drawn to her as they were fated mates. At first, he believed that Miranda was the more attractive one, but deep down, he knew that Helga was much more stunning and mature, perhaps even superior. This thought had been bothering him ever since he saw Helga being affectionate with another man, and realizing how inadequate Miranda was as his Luna only amplified his feelings.

"Are you seriously lying to my face? Do you think I'm blind?" Her expression turned into a scowl as she crossed her arms over her chest, unable to accept her Alpha's denial. She had been avoiding this confrontation for fear of hearing the truth about his feelings for that orphan or if he regretted choosing her. But now, she couldn't suppress the doubts and questions flooding her heart and mind any longer; she needed to ask her mate despite her own fear.Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

"Ugh, fuck. Are you really going to pick a fight right now? You've already embarrassed me in front of my pack because you're not using your brain, so don't you dare make a scene and make everyone present here see just how fucked up we are." Ezra's jaw tightened and his teeth ground together in frustration. He lowered his voice, not wanting anyone to overhear their heated conversation amidst the bustling crowd. Miranda's eyes widened with hurt, tears welling up as she struggled to hold them back. She clenched her fists and bit her lip, watching Ezra storm away and leave her standing alone. The sounds of chatter and laughter surrounded her, but all she could hear was the pounding of her heart and the crack of disappointment in her chest.

She inhaled deeply and gazed up at the sky, willing herself to stop the tears from streaming down her face. Once she composed herself and regained control of her emotions, she redirected her attention to the group of people surrounding her. Suddenly, her heart skipped a beat as she caught Helga's intense stare, which seemed to penetrate deep into her soul before Helga smirked and resumed conversing with the Alpha King.

"Hah! Who does that bitch think she is?" Miranda muttered under her breath, her brows furrowed in frustration, "Just wait until we're in the forest and see what happens."
