My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul

Fiona smirked as if she had caught Natalie in a lie "You're too scared to swear an oath, yet you dare claim you've never tried to seduce Austin?"

"You're just another woman I've seen plenty of before, always trying to use underhanded tactics to get what you want. The way you married Jeremy back then must have been no different, right?

"You ended up divorced not just because of Austin, but because Jeremy discovered your greedy nature," Fiona said with a smug smile, convinced she had unraveled Natalie's secrets.

Natalie glanced at her phone. The building manager had just confirmed a few minutes ago, so they should be arriving with security soon. There was no point in continuing this conversation with someone like Fiona.

Instead, she decided to call Austin. With his busy filming schedule lately, she wasn't sure if he was resting or if his phone was on silent. He had been working around the clock, with little sleep to spare.

Seeing Natalie ignore her while making a call made Fiona frown. "Who are you calling? The police? Go ahead, you'll just embarrass yourself, not me. After all, you're the mistress who's trying to steal someone else's fiancé."

Natalie looked at Fiona as if she were an idiot. "There's no need to involve the police over something so trivial."

It was best to resolve this situation simply and without drama.

Fiona raised an eyebrow. "Calling your friends over? Since I came here, I obviously didn't come alone. I always have bodyguards with me, ready to protect me at all times."

Fiona scoffed at the idea that a woman like Natalie thought a few friends could intimidate her. She had grown up surrounded by bodyguards, and ordinary people like that didn't scare her at

all.

Natalie was ready to end the call after waiting for a while when the call was suddenly answered.

"Natalie?" Austin's voice came through, sounding a bit groggy as if he had just woken up.

Natalie was momentarily taken aback. There was something undeniably charming about him. No wonder Fiona felt insecure. She glanced at Fiona and said, "Mr. Powell, I'm sorry to bother you. I didn't intend to interrupt your day, but I think it's important to discuss what happened today."

"What's going on?" Austin asked, pausing for a moment.

Fiona froze the moment she heard "Mr. Powell" and immediately asked, "Who are you calling?

Natalie looked directly at Fiona and said, “Mr. Powell, your fiancée has been calling me since yesterday, accusing me of being a mistress. After I explained myself, she refused to believe me.

"Today, she even came to my house. I think this is something you and your fiancée need to sort out between yourselves. I'd appreciate it if you didn't disturb my life anymore."

Fiona's expression darkened as she stared at Natalie with a twisted look. "You actually called Austin."

There was a brief pause before Austin's calm voice broke the silence. "Wait for me. I'll be there," he said before hanging up.

Almost immediately, Fiona's phone rang. Her body stiffened, and her face turned pale as she bit down hard on her red lips, glaring at Natalie.

Natalie was speechless under Fiona's intense glare. "Since you don't believe me, it's good that Mr. Powell can explain it to you himself. You've been disturbing me for no reason, and you both owe me an apology.

"But don't worry, I'm not one to hold grudges. You don't even need to say sorry. Mr. Powell said he'd be here soon. You can wait for him downstairs." "You-" Fiona stammered. She had never encountered someone who handled things quite like Natalie.

The thought that Austin now knew about the situation left her uneasy, and hearing Natalie's words only added to the sting of humiliation she was feeling.

Natalie smirked and added, "Ms. Ortega, whenever you remember what the word 'manners' means, feel free to tell me you're sorry. I'm quite generous, so I'll probably forgive you. Now, please step aside, I'd like to go home."

"Natalie," Fiona shouted, her frustration evident.

"I have excellent hearings. There's no need to shout," Natalie said. She wasn't trying to provoke anyone. It was just Fiona's attitude that was hard to tolerate. Who was she trying to impress with her superiority?

Natalie didn't depend on her for anything, so there was no need to care about her attitude.NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
