My Four Miraculous Treasures

Chapter 212

Willow stood before the Rolls-Royce. The black paint gleamed luxuriously even under the dim lighting. Willow circled the car before finding the punctured tire.

The tire was flat so this side of the car wasn't as high as the other.

She squatted down to examine the tire. She found a silver needle on the tire surface that was close to the ground.

It was this needle that punctured the tire.

Willow held the end of the needle and tried to pull it out.

However, the needle was so stuck that she couldn't pull it out no matter how hard she tugged.

Perhaps squatting down was limiting her energy, so she straightened her legs while bending forward and tried again.

One, two, three!

Wheeze!

The needle came out.

As the needle left the tire, Willow staggered backward from using too much force.

She mentally prepared herself for the pain she would feel on her rear end for the upcoming fall.

Instead, she fell into a firm, broad, and slender but strong embrace.

She knocked into the man's chest with great impact. An ordinary person would've staggered back as well with this much force.

Yet, the man was strong and stable enough. His tall figure and sturdy legs supported him well.

Not only did he manage to stay still, but his strong arms had also circled Willow's waist to embrace her. Having felt the masculine energy of an aloof and intimidating man, Willow panicked and started apologizing, "I'm sorry, I didn't do it on purpose..."

Amid her panic, she saw the man's handsome chiseled face, well-defined features, and bright eyes. Willow paused and her heart leaped. It was Jasper!

She left his arms and said nervously, "What a coincidence, Mr. Hughes." Jasper approached her as his gaze deepened.

Willow could hardly breathe under his pressuring aura.

As his tall figure shadowed her, Willow backed away in fright with every step he took. She remembered the needle in her hand and quickly hid it behind her before giving Jasper an awkward smile.

Her back soon touched the car, leaving her no room to escape. Jasper placed both hands on either side of her, trapping her in between him and the car.

His face was pressing close as he looked down and his heated breath got closer.

His masculine aura enveloped her. It was that same familiar aura that took her again and again that fateful night five years ago.

Willow's heart pounded as if she was electrified. As his lips closed in, Willow turned away anxiously.

Having missed her lips, Jasper leaned into her ear and said deeply, "You seem to be interested in my car."

His heated breath fell on her delicatenoveldrama

ear and she twitched from the tingling sensation. She quickly explained, "You're mistaken, Mr. Hughes, I'm not interested in your car"

en

"You must be interested in me then," Jasper said hoarsely.

Willow was speechless.

The underlying meaning of his ambiguous statement made her heart shudder and cheeks flush.

She wanted to say something but Jasper cut her off by commanding, "Come to my office in ten minutes." Then, he retracted his arms and disappeared into the elevator.

As Willow watched him leave, she held her pounding heart in an attempt to calm it down.
