Chapter 262
Willow didn't want to go on a date at all. She just wanted to prevent Jasper from sending her upstairs.
She was racking her brains, trying to come up with an excuse that would allow them to part ways here instead of letting Jasper go upstairs.
Then, she heard him ask what kind of date.
Willow faked a smile and said, "I'm good with any kind."
Jasper stood over 6 feet tall while Willow was a little over 5 feet. She barely reached his shoulders, so she seemed tiny in comparison to him.
Jasper looked down at Willow's charming smile.
She was grinning without showing teeth. Her eyebrows curved slightly as her doe eyes stared straight at him. The lights from the lampposts seemed to dance in her eyes and her dainty red lips pulled him in.
She looked so pure and alluring.
Jasper's throat tightened at just a mere smile of hers.
He made a call and ordered, "Reserve a room. I want a presidential suite."
His voice was low and magnetic.
It violently tugged at Willow's heartstrings.
Willow stopped her fake smile and asked in shock, "Why are you reserving a room?"
After Jasper hung up, his eyes darkened as he lifted her chin. He answered seductively, "It's a date."noveldrama
Willow internally shuddered. She wasn't imagining things at all.
He was indeed reserving the room for that purpose.
Willow frightfully let his hand go and backed away to put some distance in between them. She said nervously, "Mr. Hughes, have you never been on a date before? Dates don't require rooms."
Jasper's gaze darkened. "Are you experienced in dating?"
His chilling aura became colder than the night breeze, threatening to freeze her to her core.
Willow stiffened and became conscious of her breathing as she tried to explain, "That's not what I meant. I just wanted to have coffee. I told you before that there's a cafe in my area that serves great coffee. I thought you would remember..."
Jasper's sharp aura softened slightly. "Let's go."
Willow quickly followed him.
The cafe was open for 24 hours. Willow went in with Jasper.
The cafe's waitress habitually greeted, "Welcome..."
Upon seeing the male customer, she paused, stunned by his aura.
The man was strikingly tall and exuded an air of elegance. He was too handsome for words.
The waitress had never seen such a gorgeous and distinguished man before. She couldn't look away for a moment as her heart raced.
"Could we have the menu please?" Willow urged after noticing how love-struck the waitress was as she stared at Jasper.
Willow and Jasper had already sat down, but the waitress was still in a daze. The waitress immediately snapped out of her reverie and replied, "Coming."
She went over to their table and

handed the menu to Willow. However, she kept her eyes on Jasper. She wasn't staring at him blatantly but was stealing glances by pretending to look elsewhere while keeping him in sight
Her actions were obvious to Willow. Willow asked Jasper, "Mr. Hughes, what would you like?"
Jasper merely glanced through before saying, "You decide."
"Alright then." Willow then turned to the waitress and said, "One americano and one latte, thanks."
As if she was caught staring, the waitress was startled. She took the menu away with an awkward smile and returned to her post to prepare the coffee.
Willow watched the waitress disappear into the kitchen before redirecting her gaze to meet Jasper's intense stare.
Her heart skipped a beat and she
forced a smile. "Mr. Hughes, it's the first time our neighborhood received such an esteemed customer as yourself, so the young lady was mesmerized."
en
Jasper was indeed charming. He had a handsome face, an alluring figure, an
elegant demeanor, and a dignified status.
Any woman would fall for him.
"She's just envious of you," Jasper said.
What do you think?
