Chapter 87
Chapter 87
Without any warning, a nurse entered the room with a bouquet of flowers.
Liliane heard the noise at the door, and her fingers trembled slightly. The liquid from the medicine bottle
flowed following the corner of Esther’s mouth and stained her dress.
“You are?” the nurse asked curiously, looking at Liliane standing so close to Esther.
Liliane calmly tucked the medicine bottle in her palm and composedly replied, “I’m her elder sister.
The nurse looked at Liliane and then at Esther, puzzled by the fact that these two sisters did not
resemble each other in the slightest.
Liliane’s dark gaze fixed on the valuable liquid that slid into Esther’s dress collar, feeling a slight
pity.
Liliane picked up her bag and turned away indifferently. “Take good care of her.”
After Liliane left, the nurse approached Esther. When she saw the damp area on the collar of Esther’s
dress, she wiped it with a tissue, quite puzzled. C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
Liliane walked out of Esther’s hospital room, pretending to be calm. She glanced at the medicine. bottle
in her hand and casually threw it into her bag.
“Mommy! You’re back?”
Felix had been anxiously watching the door. When he saw Liliane had not returned, his little heart.
pounded nervously. He was afraid that Liliane would harm his biological mother while she was.
sleeping.
“Mm.” Liliane was not in the mood since her plan had been interrupted, and she certainly did not want
to deal with the ingrate.
Felix sat up straight on the hospital bed, his fair little face tilted upward, and asked in a childish. voice,
“Mommy, can you have the wedding with Daddy a bit later, please?”
Liliane suppressed her annoyance and asked, “Why?”
“Because I want to be the ring bearer.”
Liliane stayed quiet.
Seeing that Liliane did not immediately agree, Felix asked cutely, “Mommy, don’t you want to?”
“How could I not?” Liliane raised an eyebrow, pretending to be angry. “You must be in Daddy and
Mommy’s wedding, Felix.”
“That’s great!” Felix grabbed a fairy-tale storybook and handed it to Liliane. “Mommy, can you tell me a
fairy tale story?”
“Then sit properly,” she said.
Liliane casually placed her limited edition handbag at the end of the bed, took the storybook, and
started reading the story to Felix.
Felix obediently listened as Liliane read the innocent fairy tales from the book, but Liliane thought she
really did not want to pretend anymore!
She really did not want to be a virtuous wife and mother. She just really wanted to kill Felix.
As Liliane read the story, Felix fell asleep. She finally breathed a sigh of relief, gently closed the book,
and walked over to Bradley, who was handling business affairs, diligently massaging his
shoulders.
She asked, “Brad, it seems like Felix really wants to participate in our wedding.”
