My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 893

Chapter 893

The Esther on the big screen differed starkly from Bradley's memory of her. NôvelDrama.Org content.

Jasper glanced indifferently at Bradley. "As you look at her in the photos, do you still believe she's

Esther?"

The Esther on the large screen was vibrant and radiant like the sun, too bright to directly behold.

Bradley gazed at the Esther on stage, standing beside Logan, a perfect and captivating match.

"What are you trying to say?"

Jasper arched his brow. "Do you still remember how Esther looked in her final moments?"

In Bradley's mind flashed the involuntary image of Esther imprisoned in that crystal coffin.

"When she lay in the coffin, being pushed into the incinerator, I told myself, 'Jasper, you're such a

coward. You loved her, yet you couldn't even protect her from harm.'"

Bradley frowned in displeasure.

Jasper continued. "If there's a chance for a fresh start in life, I would've confessed to her before she fell

for you."

Bradley's gaze remained fixed on Esther on stage. Jasper's words seemed to hold some kind of hint for

him.

"Unfortunately, there are no second chances in this world. The deceased won't come back, and the

hurt you caused her won't heal with time. You lost a woman who loved you, and I lost the one I loved."

The emcee followed the program, revealing Esther's background to everyone present.

Realization struck the guests that the Esther they saw was not the Esther they thought her to be.

In truth, Logan and the others didn't care about others' opinions. They just wanted Bradley to know this

truth.

Bradley and Jasper sat quietly in their chairs, waiting for the engagement party to conclude.

After the event, Jasper walked calmly to Esther and Logan with a gift bag.

"Congratulations on your engagement, Esther."

Esther looked surprised. "Do we know each other?"

Jasper smiled, handing over the carefully prepared gift. "I'm a friend of your sister. This is my

engagement gift to you. I wish you and Logan happiness and a blessed family."

Esther accepted the gift. "Thank you."

Jasper handed a business card to Esther. "This is my business card. Feel free to contact me if you

need anything."

"Thank you."

Reluctantly, Jasper withdrew his gaze from Esther's face. Ever since he proposed the idea of Esther

having a new identity, he knew he'd be a passing figure in her life. He had already mentally prepared

himself. Yet, witnessing everything unfold before him, he understood what he had lost—a deeply

cherished love.

However, what she gained was a brand-new life. She would no longer be confined by Bradley's

captivity or the identity of a mother. All this merely returned Esther to a time before she had ever been

hurt by love.

Her world, despite his absence, was now free.
