Bennett placed a hand on his shoulder, his expression one of sincere gratitude. "Sid, don't be so formal with me. Just call me by name,
"This money is yours. I just came here for a bit of fun, but without your help, I wouldn't have won so much. It's like you young folks say... what's the word?"
He paused, searching for the term, then it clicked. "Lucky charm! You're my lucky charm!"
Bennett marveled at Cash as if he had discovered a treasure.
Cash, holding his broken phone, was touched by the gesture.
"You should get your phone screen fixed," Bennett commented.
Cash sighed, a tremor in his voice, "After losing my job, I've been working as a courier. It's tough, but the pay is decent. Except once, a customer gave the wrong address and demanded a free redelivery. When I refused, he and his neighbors complained, and I got fired.
"Delivering food isn't easy either. I run around for 16 hours a day in all weather, earning just about 20,000 a month, and still, I face disrespect from customers every day. This money won't last long with the hospital bills..."
Bennett transferred another thousand to him.
"I'll buy you a new phone, Cash. With your skills, you'll make it. Those who underestimate you will see."
"Thank you, Mr. Bennett. Today, I thought I'd hit rock bottom, losing even 1000 bucks. When those guards surrounded me, I thought, maybe if they beat me to death, my family could claim compensation ...

Bennett was moved. "Listen, Cash, this bit of money is nothing. How about we team up? I can cover your family's medical bills if you help me win at the casino, what do you say?"
Cash looked at him, overwhelmed by the offer. "Really, Mr. Bennett? You want to team up with me? What have I done to deserve this?"
"Don't sell yourself short, Cash. You're talented and dutiful. I want to help you. Since the casino security knows your face, we'll have to disguise you. I'll place the bets. We don't need to win big, just enough to cover your family's needs."
Cash was nearly speechless with gratitude. "Thank you, Mr. Bennett, for this chance. You're a good man, my savior..."
Bennett observed Cash's innocent and eager demeanor. With just a small sum of 4,000 dollars, Cash was incredibly easy to manipulate.
"All right, we'll iron out the details over text. By the way, Cash, what's your full name? I'll add a note next to your contact."
"My name is Cash Ingalls. I'll text it to you," Cash replied, his spirit visibly lifted by the plan.
Bennett walked away, feeling a surge of pride at the respect Cash showed him.
With a smile, he climbed into his special BMW for the ride home, thrilled about the money he had won.

Cash watched him leave, envy flickering in his eyes until the car disappeared. Then, he headed back to the casino, where a different scene awaited him.
As soon as he entered the grand doorway, he raised his hand slightly, signaling the approaching senior managers who came forward with disinfectant towels and gloves.
Maids quickly tended to any stains on his clothing.
"You must be tired, Sir," one of them remarked.
Sid Ingalls, having shed his earlier facade of vulnerability, elegantly wiped his hands and turned to the older man in a suit who accompanied him. "Ivan, how was my performance just now?"
The elderly man, his golden hair and blue eyes a stark contrast to his gentle demeanor, smiled. “Sir, your acting skills could rival your mother's in her prime."
Moments before, Sid had played the part of an innocent and naive young man in front of Bennett, but now his eyes sparkled with mischief and pride.
"My mother is a movie star. I still have much to learn to match her."
The old man nodded, his smile unwavering. "But why did you decide to handle this personally? You could have delegated it."
Sid's expression sharpened immediately. "How can I entrust Charmaine's matters to just anyone?"
Quickly realizing his mistake, the old man corrected himself. "You're right, Sir. Ms. Charmaine's affairs are too important to be handled by anyone less than trustworthy."
