My Two Alphas

Chapter 69

Lucy

Mitchell groaned underneath me, and I became very aware of the fact that I was crouched over him, completely n*ked. Ace growled as he rolled, and as awkward as it would be for poor Mitchell to open his eyes to my bre*sts hovering over his face, I was too scared to move in case they attacked. I knew they wouldn't while I was positioned above him, so I wasn't willing to move just yet.

Mitchell sat up, completely oblivious to me hovering over him. Ace growled when Mitchell smacked his face into the side of my bre*st. Tyson stalked off when I heard Mitchell's voice.

"Ah, Lucy, why are you n*ked?" he asked, and I moved, so I was sitting in front of him between him and Ace. Mitchell sat up, and we must have been a strange sight to see. I had never shifted before, yet I was used to seeing other people n*ked all the time.

But being n*ked myself, I felt extremely exposed. I heard the front door bang as it smashed against the wall. Tyson rushed out with a pair of shorts on and a handful of clothes. He tossed a shirt at me.

"Put it on," he snapped, and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Lucy, put the f*cking shirt on," he growled as he handed Ace a pair of shorts before tossing pants at Mitchell.

"Stop looking at her," Ace barked at Mitchell.

"I have a mate, chill out," Mitchell said behind me as I pulled the shirt on. I was half-tempted to leave it off as a big f*ck you to the pair of them, but I wasn't comfortable being this exposed to the world, though Mitchell had seen plenty of my boobs before when we had sleepovers. No girl can keep their t*tties in a tank top while sleeping; he had seen plenty of nip slips or full-on b00bage exposure.

"Not like I haven't seen her n*ked before," Mitchell muttered. Tyson stepped toward him, and a furious growl ripped from him.

"When the f*ck did you see her n*ked?" Tyson growled, but I could hear the warning behind his voice if he answered wrongly. "Relax, I am not interested in your mate. I used to be. Not since I found mine, though and to answer your question when she would sleep over." Oh my god, Mitchell, stop talking. You are digging us a bigger hole to climb out of.

"You slept at his house n*ked in his bed?" I facepalmed at his stupidity.

"No, he meant he has seen pieces of me. You all have long before you knew I was your mate. Hard to contain all this. I have known Mitchell just as long, he has caught glimpses of me before, and we always slept head to toe," I told them, wondering how the f*ck their minds could go from wanting to kill Mitchell to this topic.

"Yeah, mom was always funny that way. Doors open and head to toe, so Lucy could kick me in the face all night," Mitchell chuckled.

"Pretty sure they still want to kill him," Lucille told me. It was so strange hearing a voice in my head that wasn't my own. "Well, technically, we are the same person. Therefore, your own voice. I am just the more sordid unrestrained version," she told me.noveldrama

"What a word choice to describe yourself," I told her when I heard a menacing growl snapping me back to the issue at hand. Tyson had moved closer and was about to grab me. I could see that having a wolf thing would be a distraction.

"You just need to learn to focus on your surroundings while talking to me instead of trying to find me to speak to me. Multitask," she said. Tyson's hand wrapped around my wrist, but I twisted out of it.

Tyson glared at me, and Mitchell remained still behind me. He knew I was the only thing keeping them away from him. "Lucy, come here," Tyson snarled, his lip pulling over his teeth slightly as he glared at Mitchell pressed against my back. "No, not until you give Mitchell his car keys and let him leave."

"That's not happening," Ace said with a snarl as he folded his arms across his broad chest and glared down at me. "Then we will remain right here. I am not moving because the moment I do, you will hurt him." Ace reached for me, but I slapped his hand, wondering if Lucille would shift again if needed. I wasn't sure how to force it.

"Right here, Luce. I have a bone to pick with him anyway. I don't mind delivering on that threat earlier or taking his hand. At least then the j*rk will know to keep them off other girls," she said.

"Wait, you know?" I asked her, remembering to focus on my surroundings.

"Yep, I have always been here, Lucy. I was just blocked off. I still saw and felt everything you did though sometimes it was hard to see," she said.

"So, you know everything about me?"

"I am your wolf. We are one now. You will never have to fight a battle alone again, Lucy. I am sorry I failed you," she said, but I shook my head.

"Weird, huh, talking to a wolf?" Mitchell said behind me.

"The weirdest," I told him.

"Yeah, I spent two weeks talking out loud to myself. Should have seen the looks I got at school before I realized I was speaking my mind to the world." He laughed.

"Wait, was I doing that?"

"No, Luce, I could just tell by the distracted look on your face," Mitchell said. I let out a breath, but Tyson and Ace were observing us. Mitchell's phone started ringing on the ground behind Tyson, who turned and picked it up.

"It's his mother," Tyson said, and I held my hand out for his phone.

"No, not until you move off him. You are practically sitting on his lap, Lucy."

"I want his car keys," I told him, and his jaw clenched as his eyes darted to Mitchell before going back to me.

"That is not an option," he said when I saw his eyes glaze over. Ace did, too, and I reached over, snatching the phone from Tyson's grip and passing it to Mitchell. Tyson's claws slipped from his fingers, and he looked like he was about to do something. Ace, however, was still locked in a mindlink and by his expression, he looked pissed off before his eyes brightened to the normal silver color.

"Ryker is on his way," Ace said, looking at Tyson, and he cursed. Not even two minutes later, I heard a car on the gravel driveway. A few more minutes passed when I stood up, and so did Mitchell. Tyson instantly lunged at Mitchell to grab him as Ace ripped me toward him.

A growl escaped me, and I elbowed him in the stomach, making him let go before elbowing him in the face. I then shoved Tyson and got back between Mitchell and him. The car stopped, and Ryker jumped out with Jacob.

My stepfather looked as murderous as Tyson and Ace, and I grabbed Mitchell's arm as he approached.

"Why is he still here?" Ryker snapped at Tyson and Ace.

"No one is touching him," I blurted out, and my father snarled at me.

"That's not for you to decide, Lucy. Grab him, Jacob," Ryker said, and Jacob rushed over. I growled at him, baring my teeth, and he stopped.

"Lucy, enough. Stop this," Ryker snapped at me.

"No! You don't get a say. He is my friend. I forgave him for his part. He handed Josie over, for f*ck's sake. He isn't going to do anything."

"You're right, he isn't, because he is coming with me. Now, stand down, or I will make you," Ryker said coldly. Mitchell sighed behind me.

"Where is mom?" I asked Ryker.

"At home with Ryden and Rayan, now move."

"No!" I told him, and I felt Lucille come forward. Ryker blinked at me before his eyes darted down to realize I only had a shirt on before flicking back to my eyes. He stepped forward, cocking his head to the side and observing me, and I knew he could feel her.

"She has a wolf," Tyson told him. Ryker clicked his tongue before nodding to Jacob in front of me.

"No, you can't, Dad. He did nothing wrong."

"He betrayed the pack, Lucy."

"Like you wouldn't if it was mom."

"No, I wouldn't. I would have sought f*cking help if our roles were reversed. He made a stupid decision that could have cost your life." "I will go with them, Lucy," Mitchell said, touching my arm. Ace growled at him but didn't do anything.

"What will you do to him?" I asked.

"Avery is on her way. She will get in their heads and see who is telling the truth and who isn't. If what he claims is true, then I will think of letting him go home. Argue with me, Lucy, and I will banish him."

"Melana?" I asked.

"Josie said she left the City. We have no idea where she is," Jacob said, and Mitchell slipped out from behind me.

"It's fine, Lucy. Avery will see, okay?" Mitchell said, kissing my temple before stopping next to Jacob.

"You two, I will deal with later," Ryker told them, walking back to the car. Mitchell hesitantly got in, and I went to go with him when Tyson grabbed me, tossing me over his shoulder.
