Chapter 461
Claudia stepped barefoot on the floor, her footsteps quick and sticky. When she saw Nicholas’s back, she couldn’t help but call out, “Nick!
“Nick, you’re finally willing to see me.”
“Stop.”
کا
Nicholas looked at Claudia, who was nearly naked. His gaze was as cold as ice. “Wipe yourself clean,” he said flatly.
Claudia looked around. The only thing she could use to clean herself was the towel at his feet.
She thought he still cared for her. Otherwise, why would he ask her to undress and appear so close to
him?
It had been three years. There hadn’t been a decent woman by his side. Any man would feel lonely.
Claudia hid her cold smile and looked at Nicholas with affection. She stepped toward him, her face full of longing.
“Nick, I’ll listen to whatever you say, as long as you’re willing to see me. I dream of returning to your side every day.”
She stretched her body, intentionally revealing her slender waist as she bent over. She remembered how that old pervert used to love this display, enjoying her innocent gaze as she acted coquettishly.
She followed the same method, twisting her body with clumsy movements which made people want to take care of her. “Nick, I can’t reach my back. Can you help me?”
Claudia crawled to Nicholas’s feet, greedily sniffing his scent. It had been so long since she smelled him.
In her heart, she felt wronged. She didn’t think her way of treating Nicholas had been wrong. He would recover as long as he was separated from me. The facts proved that she was not wrong at all.
Since I went abroad, Nicholas’s condition had improved.
She couldn’t help but argue, “Nick, there’s more than one way in medicine. The truth is what matters. Seeing you like this makes me so happy.”
Suddenly, Claudia’s body shivered as Nicholas gripped her neck. His hand was as cold as ice, colder than the heavy rain outside.
“You’ve dirtied the carpet,” Nicholas said coldly. “Didn’t I tell you not to show such a disgusting expression when looking at me?”
Claudia was taken aback at first, but a desperate laugh escaped her lips uncontrollably. She stopped struggling, her nails lightly scratching his skin as she boldly looked into his face.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
She spoke with pain. “Nick, it’s me, Claudia! You used to say I was innocent and cute. You promised to be with me forever. Have you forgotten?”
“My innocent and cute sister is dead. What lives now is a heartless vixen.”
“Sister? Do you really think I want to be your sister? We just grew up under the same roof. We have no

blood relation. My love for you is the same as anyone else’s. There was nothing to be ashamed of.
“Why can’t you just look at me? You call me a vixen, but do you know? Those who change their hearts first should die! I would rather harm the whole world than harm you. A vixen like me is much better than that woman named Ariana!”
“Shut up.” Nicholas raised his hand lightly, and her small body was tossed against the large window. “I called you here today to warn you. When Ariana returns, do not appear in front of her and me.”
Claudia clutched her throat, her voice rasping like a broken bellows.
Her eyes sparkled with a defiant glint as she spoke, “As long as I’m still the Hawk family’s Ms. Claudia, I can go wherever I please.
“If you love her so much, why not declare to the world that you’ve cut all ties with me? Or maybe just kill me, and I’ll disappear forever.”
“I have nothing more to say to you.” Nicholas stood up, turning to leave. “Claudia, live well, Having everything and losing everything is my punishment for you.”
Claudia’s desperate voice echoed behind him. “You said you’re my brother, yet I haven’t seen you for three years. You want me to be the heiress of the Hawk family. But I’m in rags, living in that run–down white hospital.
“You say this is punishment for me, but how are you any better? Pete is divorced. You can’t hold back any longer, can you?”
Nicholas paused, glancing into the darkness. “Take her back. Send someone to clean the house and replace the carpet.”
Claudia was right. He wanted to see me. He couldn’t wait any longer.
