Chapter 3216 Nathan Took Action
The words reached Nathan's ears. He furrowed his brows, turning his head to look at the bottom of the canyon.
Just then, the fight that broke out below the canyon stopped. The last human warrior kneeled on the ground weakly, seemingly in despair.
The female warrior's hair flowed down like a stream after her hat dropped while tears of despair rolled down from her empty and unfocused gaze onto her slightly childish face.
It seemed like she had lost the will to fight completely. In fact, she was wanting to end her life.
The miniature Eurasia flag tattoo on the back of the woman's left hand didn't go unnoticed by Nathan.
Clearly, Colin spotted the same thing, leading him to guess that the female warrior was from Eurasia. The battle had ended at this moment.
Hundreds of bondslave surrounded the female warrior with their fangs flared, wanting to enjoy her fresh blood. Yet, not one of them dared to take another step forward. While Nathan and the rest were confused by their actions, a towering man with a noble and elegant appearance in a clean, exquisite black tuxedo walked over slowly.
Evidently, he was a vampire aristocrat of the rank of at least a vampire knight, so he held a higher position than the bondslave.
The bondslave who encircled the female warrior was frightened, moving out of his way when the noble-looking man showed up.
Vampires had a system that they had to follow. Hence, the average bondslave must listen to the aristocrats' words.
Judging from the current situation, the vampire knight must have set his eyes on the surviving human female warrior as his next prey. Thus, paralyzing the movement of the other bondslave.
The reason behind the female warrior's desperation became apparent. The truth was revealed on why even though she kneeled, waiting for death to envelope her with a tear-stained face, no bondslave moved in to attack her.
The vampire knight strode over to the woman on the ground. A sneer appeared on his pale face. "Heh. What a beautiful Aplothian beauty. I've consumed many Adrunian women's blood, but never have I ever tried an Aplothian woman's blood before!" He extended his hand and lifted the warrior's chin, forcing her to look at his face.
The vampire knight smiled cruelly. "Hey beauty, the name is Karter. Remember my name, for your life will end after my passionate kiss!"
With that, he opened his mouth, baring his fangs before leaning into the warrior's fair neck.
Meanwhile, at the top of the canyon, Wolfric and the rest watched the scene unfold coldly without any emotion.
A feeling of disgust slowly rose in
Monica, the only female team
member. She hated the men before her, who watched as a woman was being harmed without doing
anything. She couldn't unde
why these people called themselves War Gods.
But then again, her rationality also told her that they had a more important mission on hand and that they couldn't risk exposing their whereabouts. Monica sighed inwardly as her heart was filled with sorrow. She turned her head away, unwilling to watch the woman's life vanish before her eyes.
At that moment, Nathan suddenly moved.
He raised his left leg, kicking randomly.
Whoosh!
A goose-egg shaped pebble flew out, disappearing from view.
Back to the bottom of the canyon, Karter, with a wretched smile on his face, was going to sink his teeth into the female warrior's neck. However, before he could touch her skin, the pebble charged toward him, riding on a whistling wind.
The alarm bells in Karter's head began ringing as his eyes widened.
I'm in danger!
The thought had just formed in Karter's mind when the pebble hit his head, not allowing him a chance to dodge. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
The force of the stone that Nathan kicked was tremendous, and it wasn't something that Karter, a mere vampire knight, could withstand. Bam!
The force was like a bullet shot from a sniper rifle shooting through a watermelon.
Karter's brain exploded instantly as white and red brain matter flew everywhere. His headless body slowly crumbled to the ground before the female warrior and the other bondslave.
Initially in despair and waiting for death to claim her, the woman was stunned to witness the turn of events.
The rest of the bondslave froze in tracks too.
Not to mention Wolfric and the others who stood atop the canyon.
Monica, who suppressed her dismay and disgust, had looked in the other direction earlier, unwilling to witness the cruelscene. She was about to leave when she heard the noise. Monica shifted her gaze to the location in the canyon and was
shocked by what she saw.
