Chapter 3239 Hang Him
"I'll handle the cigar-smoking one. You guys take care of the others."
After Nathan had said those words to Wolfric, he rushed toward Lambert, giving him no chance to react. Nathan moved at an impossibly fast speed.
In the blink of an eye, he had appeared in front of Lambert.
The latter let out of low growl, his cigar still hanging from his lips, and raised his fist to strike Nathan.
At the same time, Nathan threw a punch.
Pow!
A sound like a thunder boom echoed loudly around the room.
The collision of the two men's fists sent a powerful ripple of energy outward, impacting everything in its path.
The walls around them collapsed instantly. Slowly, the entire building began to crumble as well.
Wolfric and the others quickly raised their hands over their heads to block any falling debris.
As the building came crashing down, the vampire prince, Gerart, made his move. Amidst the chaos, he launched his attack on Wolfric and the others.
Wolfric was startled. In his fright, he held up his mithril pistol and shot multiple bullets indiscriminately in Gerart's direction.
Gerart dodged the bullets easily, moving fluidly through the gaps between the bullets. He emerged in front of Wolfric, completely unscathed, and delivered a powerful punch, sending Wolfric flying through the air. Pow!
The poor man fell to the ground with a loud thud. He struggled to his feet and spat out a mouthful of blood.
Gerart's punch had wounded him severely.
Luckily, his men were quick to react and were rushing to his aid.
Daveth and Betty, masters of the Curia and armed with deadly weapons, leapt at Gerart and blocked him from further pursuing Wolfric.
Gerart moved like a ghost, and his hands were like the wind. He couldn't be seen and was unpredictable. In two hits, he had forced Daveth and Betty to retreat.
However, he was not victorious yet. Colin, Sevan, Monica, and the others immediately jumped into the fight and besieged Gerart.
Even in the face of more than a dozen warriors, Gerart appeared calm and unshaken. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.
He easily stood his ground despite the fight being one against many.
At the same time, the battle between Nathan and Lambert was getting heated Neither of them was holding back on any of their skills and tricks.
Nathan parried with Lambert. Then, he suddenly kicked him squarely in his chest.
Pow!
Nathan's kick sent Lambert crashing through several walls before he finally managed to catch himself.
When Lambert got himself back on
his feet, he suddenly threw his head
back and screamed in a
blood-curdling voice. His figure seemed to lengthen in front of their eyes. In the span of a second,
he
had grown more than twice in size. His handsome face turned ferocious and a pair of skeletal wings had sprouted from his back.
After just a few spars with Nathan, he had been forced to transform into his fighting form.
At that moment, the five men who had been on guard duties outside the building, rushed in to join the battle when they heard the commotion.
With five additional opponents, Gerart was reaching his limit. He, too, transformed into his fighting form with a loud bang.
When he saw Lambert in his fighting form, Nathan pulled out The Unsullied and rushed toward Lambert with all his might.
Lambert had not expected Nathan to be so strong nor for the latter to pull such an unexpected move.
In his shock, he clamped Nathan's blade between his two palms, making it impossible for Nathan to strike. Nathan frowned. He twisted his stance into a lunge and increased the force bearing down on his sword. Lambert had begun sweating profusely from holding onto Nathan's blade, desperately resisting his attack.
He knew that if he allowed Nathan's blade to strike him, it would be the end of his life.
Lambert's strength was formidable and coupled with his desperate desire to survive, he had turned into a force that could not be underestimated at the moment of
his death.

No matter how powerful Nathan was, he was unable to move his sword even an inch. He would not be able to kill Lambert in that way. Since brute force was no longer an option, Nathan changed his strategy. Without any warning, he kicked Lambert's chin hard.
Pow!
Lambert's jaw shattered with sickening crack.
He grunted in surprise and pain.
The hands holding onto Nathan's blade loosened.
Nathan's sword swung in a flash.
Whoosh!
The blade cut through Lambert's chest, ripping through his skin in one bloody strike.
