Shrouded Affections Winning Back My CEO Wife

Chapter 1192

Chapter 1192:

“Think about it. You need to have at least two babies. One with the Vazquez surname and the other with the Dawson surname.” Leyla didn’t have the nerve to reveal that she also knew about Eileen’s health condition. Otherwise, she would have suggested that Eileen have another baby with the surname Brooks. That way, Ruby and Eileen wouldn’t have to worry about what Bailee would do if she couldn’t have a baby.

Eileen replied, “Grandma, I’m so tired. I need to rest.” Just thinking about having two more children as Leyla suggested was enough to make her head throb.

Before Eileen could complain any further, she was already at the foot of the stairs.

As she turned the corner on the second floor, Leyla stood up and walked towards Bryan. Eileen was speechless.

Anyway, since she had made it out, everything would be fine. Leyla and Bryan could discuss the surnames of future babies as long as they wanted.

Eileen went to her bedroom and fell asleep within minutes. As a result, she was still fast asleep by lunchtime. Bryan came to wake her up, worried that she would be famished if she slept any longer.noveldrama

Eileen headed downstairs with her phone in hand. She took a seat and began tackling work tasks while she waited for Bryan to prepare a plate of spaghetti for her.

As she scrolled through her phone, a new friend request suddenly caught her eye. The profile picture showed a face she recognized, but she couldn’t quite place it.

She accepted the request, and almost immediately, a message popped up.

“Ms. Curtis, it’s me, Adalina Vance.”

The name Eileen hadn’t seen in ages left her momentarily lost in thought. She sighed wistfully and replied to Adalina’s message.

“It’s been years. I recall Mr. Clarkson telling me that you and Aaron coincidentally enrolled in the same university.”

Adalina replied, “It’s thanks to that that I made it into Onaland High and achieved what I have today.”

It was clear from the reply that Adalina was still gentle. She was as polite as usual.

Eileen encouraged Adalina to study hard. After a long while, Adalina replied, “I heard that Milford was released from prison. Is that true?”

“Yes,” Eileen responded.

“Then where is he now?” Before Eileen could reply, Adalina sent a flurry of messages. “Did he go back to school? Did the school take any disciplinary action against him? Will he be allowed to continue as a special student and graduate this year, or will he have to follow the regular program like everyone else and study for several more years?”

“Go back to school?”

After reading Adalina’s questions, Eileen felt a heaviness in her heart.

Milford’s accelerated admission to university should have meant that he would have already graduated and started making money to “pay her back.”

However, he had been expelled from the university. The news had caused a huge stir back then. It was rumored that Adalina’s parents had arranged for her to go abroad.

Even though Adalina had been abroad, she should have heard of such big news, especially since she and Milford had attended the same high school before. Besides, Milford had been basically a celebrity at that school. Clearly, Adalina’s parents had deliberately kept her in the dark about Milford’s situation.
