Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 79

Happy reading…

“Please sit!”

Hera just followed what the man said. She looked around the apartment as if looking for Haidar. But there was no sign of the man being there.

Actually, where is Haidar?

Hera took a deep breath and then leaned back on her body which somehow felt so tired.

“Please drink, Ms. Hera,” said the man, handing a glass of juice to Hera, he then sat down in front of the woman, smiling sweetly.

“No need to be so formal. It makes me feel awkward,” said Hera, smiling awkwardly.

The man then chuckled. “In fact, I will feel awkward and insolent if I treat the prospective Primary mistress disrespectfully.”

The man’s words made Hera blush. Ridwan is indeed very good at making people blush and feel uncomfortable with his words.

“Oh yes, you must have come here looking for Mr. Haidar, right?” Ridwan asked after a moment of silence.

Hera just nodded slowly as she put back the glass of juice that she had drunk a little.

Ridwan smiled slightly. It seemed that her superior’s charm had made it hard for Hera to let go until she came looking for him.

‘Mr. Haidar is indeed great.’ Ridwan admired his boss.

“So where has Haidar been these days?” asked Hera in a slightly demanding tone. Even though she was a little uncomfortable seeing Ridwan’s smile who seemed to be laughing at her attitude. Even Hera herself was embarrassed, but she wanted to know what happened to Haidar, making her no longer care about her pride.

Hearing Haidar’s news is the most important thing right now.

“Mr Haidar is at the Varden now?” Ridwan replied still maintaining his thin smile.

“Varden?” Hera’s brow furrowed.

Ridwan nodded slowly. “Yes. Mr. Haidar’s initial plan was just to take his parents home but unexpected events occurred that forced him to stay there for a few days.” Ridwan’s face turned sad at the end of his sentence.

“What incident?” Hera was getting curious. Events like what happened to make Haidar forget about him.

“Viona’s father fell ill and died.”

Hera sat quietly in her car until the tenth minute she was there. Hera knew that she was jealous right now. Something he shouldn’t have felt.

Haidar had once told Hera that Viona was like a sister to him. It’s only natural that Haidar is now with her, especially during her most difficult time. But Hera’s heart and logic didn’t want to cooperate, making a corner of her heart throb in pain.

Have I really fallen in love with Haidar?

Hera didn’t need to answer because in the end her jealousy made her stand up holding Juan in front of Haidar’s house.

Yes. Hera didn’t need to think long and decided to follow Haidar to the Varden accompanied by Ridwan.

“Let’s go inside,” Ridwan said to Hera who froze in place. As if the steps are so heavy.

Hera was really nervous and scared. Was her decision to meet Haidar all the way to the Varden the right one?Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

Oh, damn it! Hera hesitated when she got there. She would look like a loser if she backed off now. Taking a deep breath, Hera smiled faintly.

“Yes. Let’s go in!” she said following Ridwan’s steps who were already in front of her.

“I have contacted Madam Shila. She is very happy for you to come here,” said Ridwan. Haidar’s yard in the Varden was wide enough that they had to walk several meters to reach the main door.

Hera couldn’t hide her happiness. That is true. She will meet Haidar mother, who is so friendly, again. Remembering how cute the middle-aged woman’s smile was, Hera could already imagine how they would discuss things like that day later.

“I am also very happy to meet Madam Shila again,” said Hera.

The two smiled at each other before Ridwan pressed the bell of the big house. Not long after, the white door opened wide to reveal the presence of Mrs. Pratama with a big smile.

“Finally you guys arrived!” Shila said in a very enthusiastic tone of voice when she saw Hera and Ridwan.

“Good afternoon, Madam Shila,” said Ridwan to which Shila nodded. The woman was so serious watching Hera. There was a confused look on her face. Even the smile that was originally so joyful was replaced with an awkward, forced smile.

“Good afternoon,” greeted Hera politely with a sweet smile. The woman didn’t pay too much attention to the change in her lover’s mother’s expression, so she continued to act normal.

“Y-yes. Come on, please come in,” said Shila, stammering a little. The woman could only blink her eyes quickly. He really didn’t understand what was going on.

Shila entered first followed by Hera and Ridwan behind her. Hera looked around the house. Again she looked for Haidar’s figure, but until they reached the living room, her black irises never found the existence of the man with pale white skin.

In the middle room there are several rooms. As usual, Ridwan immediately said goodbye to Hera and Shila to occupy a room. It seemed that the man was very tired.

“You can occupy the room over there. Take a rest, you must be tired,” Shila said pointing to the room on the right and then gently stroked Hera’s shoulder.

“Yeah. Thank you,” replied Hera, carrying her luggage to the room Shila meant.

Hera was really tired. Luckily during the trip Juan was not fussy. In fact, she had been asleep ever since. Hera immediately laid Juan on the bed. Filling the empty space to the right and left of Juan with pillows so that this cute baby feels the sensation of being hugged. It also keeps Juan from falling. While Hera will clean herself first.

It took about twenty minutes for Hera to clean herself up. She was a little surprised to see Shila sitting on the edge of the bed looking at Juan who was still asleep.

“Madam Shila?”

The woman turned and smiled slightly. Hera took a deep breath before taking a seat next to Shila.

“What’s his name?” asked Shila turning towards Juan.

“Juan Xavier.” Even though she was divorced from Jayden, Hera had no intention of changing Juan’s last name. Just let it be because Juan is still part of Xavier’s extended family.

“A very good name,” said Shila, glancing at Hera. “He’s your young brother?” she continued.

Hera’s smile disappeared. Confused. Why could Haidar’s mother think that Juan was her younger brother?

“Did Haidar never say that?” Hera asked back.

Sheila shook her head. “What should Haidar say?”

gosh!

Hera’s breath caught in her neck. What kind of situation is this? Her hands squeezed each other. Hera didn’t know what to say.

“Is he your son?”

Never making a sound made Shila ask again. Now, Hera could see a very significant change from Shila. The question sounded so cold, even the expression on his face no longer looked friendly.

Then should Hera now regret having come there?
