drian couldn’t help thinking that she was more sharp–tongued than he thought. He’d seen a bit of what ie was capable of from her argument with Germaine.
irrah thought his words made sense. She shouldn’t have let her anger and frustration get to her–she ould’ve drafted the designs first. Even if Natasha refused to look at them, she could go past her and ind them directly to Adrian!

irrah grabbed a throw pillow and switched the subject to hide her embarrassment. “Oh, right. Grandpa illed me today. He wanted me to arrange for our families to meet.”

The sight of him reminded her of the scar on his arm. She needed to find some time to get the appropriate herbs to treat it. He was a company’s CEO, but he probably had troubles that ordinary Individuals couldn’t understand, right?
Jodie had finally mustered the courage to divorce Steven. Farrah wanted to ask Adrian whether he knew any good lawyers–Steven would never agree to a regular divorce. They would definitely have to go to
court for this.
However, Judging from how tired Adrian looked, Farrah swallowed her words. She would have to wait until the right time to ask him… There was a chance he would reject her, though.
The following morning, Adrian got out of the Lamborghini after it stopped at Prestige Group’s entrance. Just then, Steven charged toward him and barked, “Are you Farrah Tate’s husband?”
Adrian looked at him without even batting an eye. He didn’t answer Steven, merely standing there, looking imposing.
“I’m her father!” Steven said arrogantly. “You took my daughter away without giving me any wedding gifts- now, I want you to pay me a million dollars! Once you do that, I can sweep your rudeness under the rug!”
A few bodyguards approached them. Adrian made a simple gesture, and they stopped atop

Stevén eyed Adrian, thinking that he was definitely getting money out of the latter. Adrian was the CEO of Prestige Group, after all.
However, Adrian knew what Steven was like and could imagine what he wanted. “My wife told me not to spoil you. Sorry, but I do as she says.”
After that, he turned and entered the building. Steven snapped to his senses and was about to chase the former when the bodyguards stopped him. “Stop pestering Mr. Locke, or you’ll have to bear the consequences!”
