Chapter 195 The Secrets Behind A Woman
My fury runs deep for Cassidy.
As I sat with a gun pointed at the man’s head, the thought occurred to me that why am I doing this? What is the true purpose of me wanting the Book? Then that is when it came to me, I was not so much concerned about what it meant for me, but I was scared of what it would mean for Cassidy and me.
The fact, and as it always has, I cannot simply live without her. So having the tip of a barrel against a man, a mortal’s head did upset me, for she was supposed to have been there with me. Yet, she was off somewhere, and god knows she has been hiding it from me rather well. Now, I have come to the conclusion that she shall need to stand for her actions. I can simply not have a wife nor another Vampire just going rogue. Well, she finds herself in the Lecarde house, and she shall live by my rule. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
But, what a man says and what a man does are two different things, for I have a little plan, and for that to work, I am going to require some action. So action is what I am taking as I tone down my voice and pull her towards our bedroom.
“My beloved, we just collected something from a dear old friend.”
She looks at the questionable drops of blood that are the corner of my shirt and only but shakes her head at me, “I shall rather not ask any questions.”
As we step inside, she pulls me into a fiery and passionate kiss. She devours me with a patient hunger, possessing me soft and slow. Passion explodes through my veins as I whimper. “I love you, my beloved. I love you so damn much.”
I tangle my hands in her hair and pull her even closer. Then I grab her taut, hard ass and tug her into me, my erection grow into a throbbing. I want her inside me. I want to know for certain that she is mine. As she closes her eyes and her body quivers, I carry her to the bed.
I softly drop her body elegantly and let it disappear between the silk sheets; I shift my body close to her and let my gaze fall on her eyes. I gently lean over and pin her between my arms, my lips run down from the tip of the sensitive part of her ear to the nape of her neck. With slow hungry kisses, I cover the length of her shoulder and move back up to her sweet cherry lips.
My fingers brace her skin as I pull her hair away from her shoulder. Placing soft little kisses against the nape of her neck, her body starts to quiver in excitement.
I slowly slide from her body and come to stand in all my glory beside her. As I start to drop my pants, my erection pops out, and the expression on her face tells me that she knows that tonight she is getting this full six-seven inches.
I take my hard length and slide it down between my folds. When it reaches the tender skin of her wet entrance, a deep growl rolls over my lips. I look into her eyes; they beg; she wants this raging erection to consume every part of her.
I tighten my grip around her ass and thrusts full and hard. I retract and drive just as hard but only faster than before. I slip out again and crash in harder. The sex is loud and brutal. With every sharp thrust, our skin slaps together, wet and luscious. Her cries grow louder, more desperate, as the pleasure mounts. Her body is on fire; she is panting and moaning as the ache between her legs is throbbing.
All it takes is one fierce drive, and she is over the edge. I am right behind her. As we finally shatter into each other’s arms, we both sigh with relief.
As we lay and wait for the room to slow down from the raging high, I can only smile at the woman I will give my life for. I can honestly say that I do not regret one moment of it. If one could give me the chance to do it all over again, I can, with confidence, say that I shall do it the same way. Cassidy does believe that I am the one that brought meaning to her life, where in fact, she has brought meaning back into mine.
If I look up at the dark skies at night, I look beyond the stars and even beyond the ones that one cannot see, and I know that even if I live for eternity, I shall never know the space we live in. Cassandra is like my night sky; I know that I only know her but a small bit, but I know that I look forward to a lifetime of getting to know her. I shall never stop discovering her.
And as this woman that I love stares at me, I can see the love boil over in her eyes, but beyond them, there is something else.
“Lucas.”
“Yes, my beloved.”
She looks at me shyly, and I know that it is about to come, “I am sorry, but I need to go somewhere.”
I only but nod my head, “Sure, my beloved. I shall see you soon?”
With that, she slides off the soft satin sheets, and as per before, she rushes over to the bathroom; minutes later, she is dressed. Clenching her handbag in her arms, she gives me one last glance as she rushes out the door.
Well, not so easy, my dear beloved.
From downstairs, I listen as Damien stalls her just long enough for me to get dressed. Waiting only but a minute, I set after her. She is winding through the city like a madwoman. The rain is heavy, and the roads are sleek as her tires spin all over them. She is bound to have an accident at the rate that she is going.
But yet, I remain behind in the darkness and follow each movement she makes. Her destination is not yet clear, nor do I have an idea where the road takes me. So after what is almost twenty-minute, I find myself in an area that I know all too well.
“What is my beloved doing at the hospital?”
Has Cassidy perhaps started working again and has not had the nerve to tell me of it. I would not blame her if she felt she needed to help the mortals, but I will hold it against her for not telling me the truth about it.
Though, something is odd.
She is not walking through the main entrance. She wanders down the side of the building to a door where they only use it to bring the trash out during the day. Why on earth does she enter here?
Not wanting to cause alarms, I wait for a minute, then I slip in after her. I the far distance ahead, I can hear the click-clack of her red stilettos.
God! That is where the thought hits me.
Is Cassidy cheating on me? Why does she have to wear stilettos if she is only coming to work?”
But that theory soon falls out the door as I watch her enter a small room. As I wait in anticipation for her to disappear inside, I step closer only to find what seems to be a laboratory.
What does have Cassidy gotten her involved in now?
Do I even want to stand here and take in the consequences of her actions, for I am, after all, going to have to answer for them when they hold Council again?
Yet, I push through and slip into a room, something that I have never seen in my life. It can only be described as a pure miracle, now that is if I am reading as I perceive.
But in front of me, I see a perfect presentation of perfection, and as I watch Cassidy standing next to this vacuum, I can see the proudness in her eyes.
Did she create this?
Is this me?
But the moment I gasp, her attention is drawn to me, “Lucas, you were not supposed to see this.”
“Cassidy, what is this?”
