Chapter 229
Chapter 229
Ivy was surprised with his sudden flowery words. She looked away from him to avoid his narrowing gaze. She doesn’t want him to see that she was still affected by him. And she was still affectionate with his words. She clears her throat. “And if you can’t wait for your time with me, just don’t popped up right in front of me nor bump into me,” she said, coldly. Deep inside of her, her heart is thumping so fast that she couldn’t make it calm down. She muttered a curse inside her head and scolded herself even more. “So, let’s have some quality time for later, then…” Wyatt said but his tone was a little bit disappointed. “I’ll deal with you later,” he added. Ivy rolled her eyes, she turned her back against him and walked away. She could feel that he was still staring at her but she just manage to ignore it and enjoy the rest of her morning in the street as she shops for more gifts to Windy. *** Wyatt, who’s still in the street busy staring at Ivy’s back while walking away, he could feel a pang in his chest. He was hurting too much that he regretted everything he has done to her in the past. He doesn’t know how to woo her but he still wanted to pursue her even if he could feel the bluntness and rage of Ivy’s words, he wouldn’t care about it. As long as he cared for her as always. To protect her. His main goal now is to get her and don’t give up on her. If he ever give up, he doesn’t know what life means without Ivy… beside him. His smile fade away. His eyes were sad and he just shook his head as he walked around the area. He just wanted to have breakfast with her yet he was being canceled and even rejected. He just heaved a deep sigh. He just have one month to woo her and if he couldn’t get her in an instance, he might lose his courage anymore. Wyatt could never be happy again. He ate alone in the restaurant. He doesn’t need to starve himself just because he was rejected. While eating in the restaurant, all of the people inside is looking at him and he could say that he
feels awkward with their quite stares. He gulped when someone approach his seat. He doesn’t want to be disturb since he just wanted peace to eat his food and to calm his mind. The place has a cozy ambiance and he does scream nobelity and grace. “Quite staring,” he muttered coldly as he sipped on his drink. “It’s rude to stare.” “Are you alone, Mister?” a blonde woman ask him right away. He knew that she’s trying to get him so she could flirt but he sipped on his wine again and glances at the blonde woman right in front of her. He could see her big boobies and he just shook his head. He raised his hands, showing off his ring finger with his wedding ring. “I am married,” he replied. “Back off, woman.” he added. The woman right in front of her wasn’t even surprised, instead, she eventually smiled at him, a mischievous smile rather. “And so? I want a married man to give me a blow,” she winked. Wyatt clears his throat. “If you may excuse me, woman. I don’t want to make my wife gets angry against me and mind you…” he trailed off. “She’s going to wipe of your face into the ground if you didn’t walk away.” he warned. The woman didn’t even threatened yet she still manage to smile. “Oh, I’m sure, she’s not here with you.” Wyatt bit his lower lip, he looks so serious now. “Look, Miss… I don’t want to trouble you with my wife,” he uttered. “I’m off limits. I’m only exclusive for my wife.” he then stood up from his seat and get his wallet to pay for his meal. He also handed a one hundred dollar right in front of the woman, insulting her. “If you want to find a man you wanted to blow up your p*ssy, just don’t get along with a married man so you won’t be called bitch and a mistress.” he blurted before he walked away. It was passed one in the afternoon and he walked towards Ivy’s. It was just near the restaurant where he is earlier so it’s a less hassle for him. He took the elevator upstairs and after a couple of minutes, he was right in front of her unit. He pressed the door bell once but no one opened the door. He waited there and even called her
name but she didn’t answer nor open the door. He stayed there also. He was facing back and fourth. It’s passed two in the afternoon but still, there’s no still Ivy to appear. He started to get worried about her that he was knocking on her door. He couldn’t let something happen to her. Not now. He couldn’t lose her. “Damn it!” he cursed. “Where the hell is she?!” He was frustrated. He doesn’t even know what to do now. He closed his eyes as he even leaned his back on the wall. He then startled when he glances at the woman coming through him and it was Ivy. His eyes were sad and worried yet he closed their distance as he pulled her for a hug. “Where have you been?” his voice was shaky and sounds worried. “I was waiting for you hear for almost one hour now… I thought…” he sighed. “I thought I lose you…” he added while still hugging her. Ivy was surprised. Her eyes widened as she pushed him so he would move away from his hug. She knitted her forehead. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to forget about the time.” she just said. Wyatt heaved a sigh and calmed down already. “Where have you been?” he asks. He glances on her hand which has a lot of shopping bags. “I just shop some clothes for Windy. You shouldn’t wait for me here.” she told him. Wyatt pulled her again for a hug. “W-What are you doing? Stop hugging me, Wyatt…” she stuttered. Wyatt didn’t let her go. “I guess… this is what means concern and worried to the woman I love.” he whispered. “I can’t lose you now, Ivy. I don’t want to lose you anymore…” he added. Ivy cleared her throat. “What are you saying, Wyatt? Stop the drama, alright?” She pushed him and frowned even more. Wyatt smiled at her. “I won’t push you to come with me now. I think you’re tired from shopping.” he said with a defeat expression in his eyes. “You should take a rest.” Ivy felt guilty but she didn’t talk. Instead, she opened her door and walk inside. Wyatt stayed
outside, he didn’t dare to follow her inside since she didn’t invite him. For a second, Ivy went back to the door. “Don’t you want to go inside?” Wyatt was surprised. “A-Are you… inviting me?” he stuttered. Ivy rolled her eyes. “If you don’t want to come inside, go back-” He cut her off and he was the one to close the door. He followed her until they reach the small kitchen of her unit. He was just watching her move. He seated on the counter top. “Do you want coffee? Water?” He shook his head, still staring at her. “I don’t want any…” he replied. Ivy shrugged her shoulders. “Suit yourself.” Wyatt is concerned so he get down at the counter top and walked towards Ivy. He carried her without any hesitation and even if she was struggling. “Get off me, Wyatt!” she hissed. “Damn it!” Wyatt didn’t listen to her. “Stay still. You’ll fall.” he said, so bluntly. She just struggle. “I don’t care! Just fuck off!” He stopped from walking and glances at her sharply. “Stay still. I’ll just want to tuck you in your bed so you can rest,” his voice was soft and caring now. Ivy’s heart hammered. She looked away and she just let him carry her until they reach her bed room. He slowly laid her down. He even put the blanket above her. “Rest. You’re tired.” he mumbled, softly. “I’ll watch you, baby…” he added. Ivy couldn’t even talk. She turned her back against him and she could feel her cheeks burning with so much embarrassment. The room is cold yet she’s still sweating. She could feel his stare yet she didn’t give a damn about it. She was tired, she closed her eyes. When she could feel that she’s going to sleep, she felt his lips touches her temple. “Rest well, baby. I love you…” Wyatt whispered.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
