My Ex And My Husband Ch 435
Most people had always heard that Trevor’s girlfriend held a PhD from a top university abroad and was a tech genius.
But why had they never heard of any actual achievements from her? s
Although InnovaTech had made some technical breakthroughs recently, that was likely due to the influence of Trevor during his time at the company and had little to do with Wynn herself.
In contrast, Celeste had never once claimed to be some kind of prodigy, and yet now she had stunned everyone in a single move.
Looking at it this way, maybe Trevor’s girlfriend’s so-called “genius” image was a bit exaggerated. (2)
No one said anything aloud, but the way people kept glancing back and forth between her and Celeste, silently comparing the two, made it impossible for Wynn not to notice. 7
Her face was already pale. Now, seeing how people were clearly comparing her to Celeste-and the doubt in their eyes-she clenched her fists tightly.
She might not have developed any technology herself, but her academic credentials were real. She wouldn’t tolerate others questioning her!
But no one had actually said anything, so she didn’t even have a chance to defend herself. Even if she was angry, she had no outlet.
As for academic accomplishments, she thought about the internationally acclaimed paper Celeste had published and her moment of brilliance at today’s press conference.
She had to admit, academically speaking, she could no longer compare with Celeste. (3)
Wynn stood there with an ugly expression on her face. 1
After Trevor finished exchanging pleasantries with others, he said, “Let’s go.”
Wynn forced out a smile. “Alright…”
Then she slowly composed herself, put on a calm expression, and greeted Maxwell and a few other business contacts she was familiar with.noveldrama
Only after that did she leave the launch venue alongside Trevor, politely exchanging farewells with people as they walked. 2
Though she maintained a calm appearance, her emotions were far from settled.
Trevor, on the other hand, clearly had already shifted his attention away from the launch.
He said to her as usual, “Mr. Gibbs has been fully evaluated, right? Everything checked out?” 2
He was referring to Leroy Gibbs, someone they were scheduled to meet shortly. He was a potential new partner that InnovaTech was considering working with. 4
Hearing his calm, matter-of-fact tone and seeing the same gentle look in his eyes that he always gave her, Wynn gradually settled down.
She smiled and replied, “Yes, we’ve done our homework. His team matches our company’s needs perfectly.” 1
“That’s good.” 2
As they spoke, the elevator arrived.
Velotra already had a certain level of recognition within the country, and the product launch event had been livestreamed.
Although Velotra wasn’t yet a household name that could instantly dominate online chatter with a single announcement, it did have a dedicated base of users who tuned in to watch the launch.
At first, the livestream chat wasn’t particularly active, but that changed halfway through, when Velotra’s collaboration with YodaVision was announced. That news caused the stream’s popularity to spike.
In just a short time, the livestream saw a surge of viewers.
After listening to a bit of Celeste’s explanation and speech, the popularity of the stream kept climbing, and before long, it was trending on social media.
Linda, browsing the Internet out of boredom, noticed the trending topic and clicked on it out of curiosity. 3
When she saw Celeste onscreen, she was momentarily stunned. Before she could even react, she saw the barrage of comments praising Celeste’s talent.
In addition to compliments, many viewers were discussing how Velotra’s launch could potentially crush other companies working on autonomous vehicles.
And of course, people were also speculating on how much profit Celeste, as the technical core person, would be entitled to.
Reading those comments, even someone as clueless as Linda now understood what this all
meant.

She completely panicked. 2
She hurriedly exited the page and made a phone call.
Everyone, including Howard and Lilian, had known that Wynn and Trevor were attending Velotra’s launch. But they had all assumed it was just a routine event and didn’t pay close attention to it. 3
After hearing what Linda told them, they were stunned-thinking they must have heard
wrong.
What do you think?
