The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 501

Near the alley, a few people in the car were playing games on their phones. After a few rounds, it got boring, so they turned off their games.

Dominic glanced at the alley entrance 30 feet away from the car. "Matthew gets to fool around in a card room, yet, here I am, stuck waiting for him even though I'm a Major. Thinking about it just gets me angrier."

Leo chuckled and remarked, "Don't bottle up that anger to yourself, Dominic. We'll find an excuse to deal with Matthew when he comes out."noveldrama

Dominic unlocked his ankles. "It's time to teach him a lesson, but shouldn't we come up with a reason? We can't just attack him on sight."

Leo nodded. "You're right. Sure, Matthew is a nobody, and we could just beat him up, but Mr. Miles sent us here. Out of respect for Mr. Miles, we can't go too far. It's fine to lay a hand on Matthew, but we need an excuse for it.

"Oh, right. I've got an idea!" Leo was halfway through speaking when he suddenly exclaimed, like a scientist who just made a discovery.

Dominic perked up immediately. "Have you figured out something?"

Leo responded with a smile, "From what I've observed these past few days, Matthew is a brutal person. He kills people at the drop of a hat."

Dominic leaned closer. "Yeah. Keep talking."

Leo mischievously smirked. "He might kill someone again tonight. Then, he'll want us to deal with the body. If he makes any demands, that's your moment to teach him a lesson."

Dominic slapped his thigh. "That's the plan."

After settling on a plan to take care of Matthew, everyone livened up.

Leo grinned and asked, "How long would it take you to knock him out?"

Dominic mulled over it for a moment. "A minute should do it. I'll make sure he's out cold."

Leo shook his head. "You were the champ in the previous contest for unarmed combat in our battalion, Dominic. I think you could floor him in just 30 seconds."

As Dominic and Leo chatted, Lucien suddenly pointed at the alley and shouted from the back seat, "Look! Matthew is out."

Dominic cleared his throat and announced, "Buckle up and keep your eyes peeled! Get ready for some action."

Leo and Lucien hummed in excitement. As a captain, even the peers they stumbled upon treated them with great respect.

Hence, they never thought they'd be treated like mere janitors, tasked with clearing bodies for Matthew one day. To make matters worse, he was just a nobody with no status. It left them deeply resentful.

They were looking forward to seeing Matthew getting beaten up.

Matthew knocked on the car window using his knuckles. In response, Dominic rolled down the car window and quipped, "Done with your card game?"

Matthew nodded. "All done. I didn't drive today, so I'll catch a ride with you."

As Matthew spoke, he started

making his way into the car. Dominic

was taken aback. Did Matthew

kill

no one? Weren't they going to clean up the scene again?

Upon seeing Matthew was about to enter the car, Dominic quickly shouted, "Hang

on! Are we just going to leave like this today?"

Holding the car door with one hand, Matthew just stood there blankly. He didn't understand what Dominic was getting at.

"Yes. What else?"

Dominic gestured at the alley. "You didn't take anyone out today?"

He was a little dejected when his original plan fell through, but he still couldn't help himself and raise the question.

"Well, I did kill them," Matthew nonchalantly replied.

Matthew had Brad send his people with him because he didn't want any trouble from the cops after he killed someone.

The people Brad sent to Matthew were military personnel, so the local authorities

had no right to interfere. At most, they'd just notify the military.

Did Matthew commit murder? A hint

original plan. "Do you need us to

clean up the body?"

The moment Matthew asked them to handle the bodies, Dominic would seize the opportunity to make his move.

Matthew leisurely replied, "Don't worry about it. I've set the place on fire."

When Matthew finished his sentence, a house burst into roaring flames in the direction of the alley.

In the dead of the night, the fire painted the sky red. Thick smoke and flames surged upward as if they were about to reach the sky.
