The Last Ceo’s Deal

You like her

Fanuel.

I was flipping through the files and watching the ongoing project at the president underground house through the projector screen

I paid less concentration on the screen and focused more on the files so that I could get through it at once.

Christine’s image of last night was still stamped on my head but I tried to shake it off and concentrate.

As for Alex who’s gone into hiding to plot his next step, let him bring it on.

I will crush his stupid plans before his very face and that of his stupid father.

I wasn’t surprised when I discovered from them that Oak bay belonged to Mr Malcolm. He has five other companies under someone else’s name and I wonder what he gains by hiding from the world.

Of course, it’s to keep his name clean incase of any crisis.

Silly, silly, people.

I called my secretary to appear in the office, which she did in a flash.

“Good day Boss.” She said and bowed politely while I gave her the files that were laid on the table.

“That’s the previous contract that got declined because of my wife’s signature. I want you to work on that.”

“Okay.”

“Get me the fingerprints of all that touched this field and if it ever left this premises. There’s a little stamp on the file which is almost like a chip, it will be much easier to use and locate everything.”

“Okay boss, how long do you need it?”

“Take your time, I need it in a week’s time and this should be kept discreet. Nobody else must know about what I just sent you ”

I told her and she bowed and left with the file. She’s the only one left to trust since my guts kept telling me that something was off and my guys said the same thing.

She never flaunts her ass or boobs on my face as others and dressed very moderately with utmost professionalism.

Others were good but I just wasn’t comfortable with the ICT team. They could rant about it and spoil things for me.

I stared at my laptop when the telephone chimed and I picked it up.

“You have a visitor Boss but without a scheduled appointment.” I heard from the other end and sighed.

I wasn’t ready to entertain anybody today.

“Who’s it?”

“Kayla Anderson.”

My eyes flickered with surprise.

“Let her in.”

The automatic glass suddenly slid open and she walked in taking careful steps with her heels.

She was dressed in a tight cotton fabric gown that accentuated her figures and her hourglass face radiated in the bright office.

She sat on the chair adjacent to the other and she twirled it while staring at me.

“You lack manners Kayla.” I blurted out and she rolled her eyes.

“I threw it at the gate, I will be picking it when I’m done here.” I chuckled at typical Kayla.

“So, did she do it?” I asked anxiously and she nodded, making my heart shatter and eagerly smiling and bringing out a file.

“She couldn’t even wait for me to land, She would have broken my nose alongside my teeth.”

“What do you mean?”

“She literally waved me off Fanuel!!”

Jeez! I was scared. I thought she agreed.

“You need to see how she calmly calls me names letting me know how irresponsible I am for laundering in someone’s wealth and calling karma to whip me, mehn! Where did you get her from? I love her already.”

I grinned.

“So what’s it with this trash?”

“It’s for your signature, never to send me such a suicidal mission of persuading Christine.”

I laughed out and smirked.

Christine passed the test even without knowing.

That wasn’t even my aim. I wanted to be convinced that she had nothing to do with the signature peradventure open up about the faces of those she saw while signing.

Kayla was my youngest cousin and adored like my favorite kid sister.

After Claire is Kayla and I love them to bits the same way they loved me.

Her Dad was an investor in my company but she happened to take over since her dad was out of the country.

I had to strike a deal with her to persuade Christine into doing something cumbersome to get benefit and forcing words out of her lips but I was proved wrong!!

That girl had the heart of an angel and I couldn’t be more whipped than this.

“Oh my God? You like her” She gasped in surprise.

“I didn’t say that.”

“You don’t have to, it’s evident you’re into her just by mere mentioning her name.”

“You think so.”

“I know so, finally!” She exclaimed and nodded her head as if in awe. “It’s been ages since you met someone you like after Crystal! That bitch was totally screwing you over.”

“Kayla!!”

“Try me Fanuel! You were just so whipped by her that you shut your eyes and ears to the fact she was fucking Alex. She liked Alex, not you!!”

I felt anger rise up at the bile of my throat as I glared dangerously at her.

“Can you please atleast have a single respect for the dead.”

“Oh Yeah, Father Lord Jesus…may her fucking soul rest in peace” She did a sigh of the cross sarcastically and rolled her eyes before standing up.

“Alex killed that girl, not you. Since you’re that whipped by her, why not sit and watch another cute guy take Christine…I bet that would be cool.”

“Get the fuck out Kayla!” I practically yelled at her and she blew me a kiss before leaving.

That’s it with Kayla, we always end up with a fight and start with teasing ourselves.

She’s been learning these vulgar words and bitchy attitudes from Claire lately.

Jeez, Claire shouldn’t come around. She’s worse.

Claire would Rip apart with words and still act so calm. She talks shamelessly and ask you to fuck your mother in hell.Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

I walked till evening until I was famished, missing Christine silly.

I took my jacket and threw it, taking my car keys on the table before dashing out of the company.

I’m home after a few drives and dodging traffic.

The lights were off and I frowned knowing how Christine hates darkness. I flicked it on and found no one in the first floor living room.

I traced my steps slowly and went to her room punching the pass digits and quietly opening it.

She was fast asleep.

She lay on the bed laying on her back with her sexy legs sprawled carelessly on the bed and her cute round derriere poking up dangerously.

I sighed in desperation and moved to cover her with the blanket.

“I don’t need that ” Her voice startled me.

“You were awake”

Silence……

“Uhm….” I was lost at words staring at her beautiful face which weren’t happy.

“Are you okay?”

“What makes you think I’m not.”

“Nothing really…I just, you don’t look fine to me ”

“It’s late Fanuel, I think you should go to sleep and interact with useful persons that favor you. Goodnight.”

Was she dismissing me? What the heck does she mean by interacting with a useful person?

I sighed nervously and bit my lips exiting her room slowly.

I reached for mine but noticed it was unlocked.

Did Christine come here today?

I opened the door and torrents of anger washes through me at the sight of the person on my bed, totally getting Christine’s words in a rush.
