the miserable life of a miserable teenager

tw chapter eighteen - highway of heroes

Has anyone in the war ever thought, “Hey, what am I doing?” There isn’t a good team or a bad team.

We can’t see anything that they do, what actually goes on. I’ve heard awful tales from the good guys, so how could I support a whole army without knowing their actions?

You could say they had to do it.

They did not have to rape and kill innocent women.

Who said if you don’t commit these crimes, you’ll let down your country? No one.

They made that decision willingly.

Even if they had followed their orders, what would innocent people killing innocent people, solve?

All because, the guys in charge couldn’t settle it rationally, had to get guns involved. Pretty embarrassing, if you ask me. Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Don’t get me wrong, every soldier is brave.

Seen things they’ll never recover from, but what about the ones that liked it? Enjoyed killing with no consequence?

We know they exist, it's all around us.

Giving military weapons to people we don’t even really know. That seems problematic, so why isn’t it?

Mass shootings fill the news for months, but when an evil person comes into power and acts irresponsibly, resulting in lives lost, it’s just another Tuesday?

Women are hormonal, because they cry when they’re angry.

(some) Men are strong, because they start literal wars when they’re angry.

I’ll add this to the reasons I don’t want to be here.
