The President’s Mistake A Tale of Love and Regret

Chapter 474 Suspicion

Hudson felt a wave of disgust but bit his tongue, refraining from cursing.

Prompted by Luna's reminder, he suddenly stood up.

"No, I think Sawyer is a nobody. This sudden appearance in Pontenero seems like a challenge to Mr. Nathaniel."

"I have to keep an eye on him!"

As he stood and moved toward the living room door, his phone rang. He

answered hurriedly.

"What? Sawyer actually..."

"Keep investigating! What else does this brat have!"noveldrama

"Don't inform Mr. Nathaniel just yet. He's not well and needs rest. Also... keep an eye on the lady..."

Hudson's voice trailed off as he exited the living room.

Luna sipped her tea from an exquisite cup, a hint of sarcasm flashing in her eyes.

She understood Hudson well. Although he appeared careless and suspicious, he had previously been in charge of Mr. Nathaniel's security.

During that time, Mr. Nathaniel frequently encountered trouble, and he was almost shot dead by the Lloyd family.

Now, the Lloyd family was involved again, with Frey, as his wife was also entangled in this mess.

Hudson would undoubtedly suspect Frey and thus refrain from informing Nathaniel about her actions in Pontenero for the time being.

Investigating a woman without Mr. Nathaniel's interference was crucial.

Luna was orchestrating a complex drama, and every role had to be involved for it to succeed.

However, time was running out for her. She couldn't ensure that Nathaniel and Frey would remain apart indefinitely.

Those two were strong-willed and stubborn. Even if they bowed to their feelings, it would take a few days.

During those few days, Frey had to die.

Luna sought an opportunity to make that happen. She thought of Michael.

Despite her reluctance to get too close to the Hill family, given Nathaniel's dislike for them, Michael's conditions were tempting.

Frey was no fool. Even with Nathaniel gone, Pontenero still had Sawyer. To act against Frey, she needed the right moment.

The ringing of her phone interrupted her thoughts.

She glanced at it with dissatisfaction, then put down her teacup.

It was Taylor. She hadn't expected him to call her, let alone ask her to meet him. "Hello! Taylor!" Luna answered.

Taylor's flat voice came through the line. "Is it fine for you to come out now?"

Luna was surprised. "Taylor? What's wrong? Do you need my help?"

There was a brief hesitation on the other

come "You'll know when you

come out. I have something to tell you. Drive to the Music Square. I'll send you the location."

After delivering his message, Taylor hung up abruptly. Luna listened to the long busy tone, slightly stunned. Taylor's urgency couldn't be ignored.

Why were so many people flocking to Pontenero?

She quickly drove to Music Square, following the address Taylor provided. After parking, she got out of the car and received another call from Taylor.

"Find me at the entrance of the alley on the west side."

Hanging up again quickly, Luna almost cursed. She didn't know what Taylor intended, but it felt like an underground meeting.

She walked to the west-side alley, the only one in the area and easy to find. Standing at the entrance, she saw Taylor sitting on the steps with a Truenian boy, seemingly waiting for her.
