Portia exhaled a sigh of relief when she heard Zachary's calm tone over the phone. "That's good."

After ending the call, Zachary called Harry and instructed, "Bring your ID and meet me at the police station to pick me up."

"Understood," Harry replied. Zachary settled into the back seat of the police car, gazing out the window with an air of calm composure.

The officer sitting beside him couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy as he observed the boy.

Zachary blinked before answering calmly, "His woman was about to have surgery

to terminate her pregnancy. When Dad tried to stop her, she told him it was because I told her my dad didn't want the baby. So, she acted on impulse and went to the hospital to have it terminated."

The officers in the car fell silent, digesting his words. One of them finally broke the silence. "Wait, isn't this woman your mother?"

"Of course not. Even before my mom divorced him, he was already secretly seeing her. She's his mistress."

The officer asked, "Did you really contact her?"

"Of course not. I'm focused on my studies right now. I don't have the time or interest to meddle in their affairs," Zachary said firmly, shaking his head.

The officer understood the situation. "So, you're saying your father blamed you unfairly?"

Zachary replied with a slight frown, "You could put it that way. Could you help me get a medical examination later? When he hit me, he used a lot of force. I think my ear might not be working properly anymore."

The officers exchanged concerned glances before saying, "All right. We'll make sure you get treatment while we're there."

"Thank you," Zachary said obediently.

He lowered his gaze and pulled out his phone. After a long hesitation, he scrolled through his contacts and found the number of a key executive from Steven's rival company.

Zachary sat in silence for a while before sending a message. "Didn't you always say you wanted to take Steven down? I have evidence of his wrongdoing. Interested?"

The recipient quickly responded, "What is it?"

Zachary sent over the video of Steven hitting him earlier. Then, he added, "I suggest you don't release it just yet. I'm about to undergo a medical examination for my injuries.

"Once the results come out, if the injuries are serious, the police will definitely arrest Steven. You should arrange f for someone to wait outside

his house. Then, record a video of him being escorted into a police car and upload it online."

Zachary's gaze grew colder as he continued, "I'm sure his company's shares will plummet."

After sending the final message, Zachary kept his phone and turned to look out the window.
