The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

Jared gritted his teeth. Even with Delilah there, he couldn't accept what

happened. However, he didn't dare to provoke Felix again. He wasn't brave enough to.

"Hahaha! Just because I'm unable to doesn't mean no one else can't," Jared muttered. His eyes followed Natalie's retreating figure as she left Tranquil Clinic.

He slowly picked up his phone.

"Mr. Windson, are you planning to use Natalie and her suitors in North City to deal with Felix? But based on what we know, they don't seem to have anything together," the middle-aged man in the front seat said.

Glowering at him, Jared sneered. "You know jack shit! Let's not talk about them, but Atlas will definitely come. That man truly inherited the arrogance of the Maximus family. It won't allow him to tolerate any obstacle in his way!"noveldrama

With that, Jared dialed a number-fury in his eyes. It was as though he could already see Felix's terrible end.

Just as the sun was about to set, Felix had finished treating six patients. The citizens of Martial City truly trusted Harmony Clinic. As long as the name stood, there wasn't a need to worry about the lack of patients.

To be honest, this was the first time Felix had run such a busy clinic. He felt a type of satisfaction from a job well done.

"Felix, this is one of the workers from the Larsson family. He's quite sick," Laura said as she walked in. The man she brought him indeed looked sick, but it was just a pretense.

As Felix treated the patient, they communicated through voice transmissions.

"How's the matter I've asked you to investigate?"

"Mr. Zeller, the name Cynthia is too common in Martial City. It's absolutely impossible to find her with just that one name! However, based on the information you've given, the younger sister is at least in the True Blood Realm, and the elder sister might even be above the True Blood Realm!

"With that, it had led me to discover something."

The little girl, Cynthia, had left a deep impression on Felix. He hadn't forgotten about her at all.

Now that he was in Martial City and despite having Delilah to rely on, enemies like the Maximus family, the Grand Elder, the Elders' Council, and maybe even Kevin and Aiden were potential threats!

These possible enemies weren't something Felix could deal with alone. Despite that, Delilah alone wasn't reliable enough. This meant he needed to find some trustworthy external aid as one of his trump cards.

Although he hadn't spoken with

Cynthia for long, he knew that she was trustworthy. As for her elder sister, her willingness to honor a marriage contract despite never meeting proved her character. How could such a woman be bad?

"Tell me about it."

"There's a pair of sisters in the Xavier family in Westville who met the characteristics you gave! The younger sister is Janet Xavier, who is at the True Blood Realm. Meanwhile, her elder sister is Nerissa Xavier.

"She's even stronger than Janet. Nerissa is at the Physical Refinement Realm and is one of the top talents in Martial City."

Janet and Nerissa? None of those names were "Cynthia", but then again, nicknames weren't always written in official records.

"You've done well. I'll give your worker a small bag of medications later. It'll contain pills that are meant for someone in the Pulse Realm. After taking them, you should be able to break through to the Blood Realm."

Laura was overjoyed! How could she

not know how rare these pills were? She was grateful to have pledged loyalty to the right person; otherwise, even with her status in the Larsson family, she would've never had the chance to grow.

"Thank you, Mr. Zeller."

Almost as soon as Laura left, Felix stood up suddenly-feeling the energy of the real Dragonspine again. After some hesitation, he closed the shutter doors and put on

the Shadow Mask before leaving

through the back door.

If he could obtain the final Dragonspine, he wouldn't have to be so afraid in Martial

City.
