Chapter 79 - the tape part 2

Raphael POV

I have Joseph and Robert looking for the bastard ex-boyfriend. I need to have a little chat with him. I

need to know what the fuck he was thinking to do this to Olivia.

Is it money he is looking for? He won’t get a penny out of me. He will get my fury, my fists and a bullet

in the head.

“Not now? Do you even know how I am feeling right now?”

“No” - I say. I don’t know how she feels but I can imagine.

“How can you be so insensitive?” - Olivia asks and I refuse to look at her. I am not insensitive. It’s the

other way around. Looking at her will only make me want to kill the bastard faster.

“I am not” - I say

“Whatever, I am going” - she says walking out from my office.

I take a deep breath and get ready for the fucking dinner meeting that I am not looking forward to.

The meeting was long and boring. Although there were just a few things to deal with, the meeting took

longer than expected. But in the end, everything went well and I presented the contracts that their legal

team is going to look over. Dinner turned into a few drinks at the bar and some girls coming over to

entertain us. One of the girls was trying to seduce me. But I cut her off without an explanation.

“You’re refusing some ass?” - my business associate asks.

“I’m a tied down man now” - I say with a stern look on my face

“What the eyes don’t see the heart won’t feel” - he says to me and I feel my stomach turn. This fucking

asshole is telling me to cheat on Olivia. If this was a year ago I would’ve done it, but now? With the

baby on the way, with the press all over us. And I am in love with her. I am trying my best here. it was

late when I left the bar. I had a bit too much to drink. I was drinking to I wouldn’t cheat. I almost caved.

She was playing with fire rubbing her ass oh me. But I stopped myself. Olivia deserves my respect. I

am becoming everything I always hated. As I had way too much to drink I was quite happy to have the

driver waiting for me. I want to go home and cuddle up to Olivia. I want to apologise and make her feel

safe again.

I know I was a dick towards her earlier. It just caught me off guard.

I thought she knew they were recording her and that she was just being reckless. But no. They did it

without her consent.

I am a womaniser. I’ve always been a playboy, but I always had the girls permission for me to touch

them or do whatever I wanted to.

I would never record them and then leak the footage. That is just disgusting.

I had my fair share of homemade videos, but they knew they were being recorded and they signed an

agreement about it. I can never be too careful about them coming after my money.

As I walk home I take off my shoes, tie and jacket. I start to open the button on my shirt and I walk into

the bedroom to find Olivia already asleep.

She is curled up in her side of the bed. She looks so small compared to me.

I strip my clothes staying only on my boxer shorts and I walk to the bed. I lay down next to her and I

cuddle up to her from behind. Olivia moves her body allowing me to cuddle up better. Our bodies just fit

together like gloves.

“I love you” - I whisper in her ear and I can feel her moving to my touch and my voice. She is still

asleep so I place my hands on her stomach.

“Hello little one” - I say to the baby inside of her tummy. I know it is too early to feel the baby move but I

can’t wait.

I didn’t get to experience that with Tammy when she was expecting Michael.

I close my eyes and I allow myself to drift off to sleep.

I wake up in a dark bedroom but Olivia is moving a lot. She is babbling something that I can’t

understand. I start shushing her with a low voice.

“Shhh love, you are okay” - I whisper on her ear and she calms down. I think she is having a nightmare.

I move closer to her and her hand holds on to mine.

I close my eyes again but I can’t sleep now. All I can think is all the different ways I am going to end

that bastard’s life.

Eventually, my mind drifts off to sleep.

As I wake up and move my hand I can’t feel Olivia in bed. I open my eyes to find the bathroom light on.

I take a deep breath and walk towards the closed door.

I knock and I can hear her singing in the background.

“At two o'clock in the morning

Sure I'm at their party house

I meet the roommate getting some water

She got a baby in her stomach

Oh oh oh oh oah oh

Oh oh oh oh oah oh” - Stereophonics - all in one night

I open the door and she is in the bath.

“Hey, are you okay?” - I ask stepping in.

“My back was aching so I decided to have a bath”

“Let me in” - I say as I strip my boxer shorts and I place myself behind her with my legs hugging hers

one on each side.

“I am sorry” - I whisper now from behind her.

“It’s okay” - she says

“No, it’s not, I just” - Olivia interrupts me by placing her head back on my shoulder and looking at me.

“I know” - she says

I take a deep breath and place my hands on her stomach making me hug her.

“When do you have the doctor appointment ?” noveldrama

“I’m going to call today to book the appointment” - she says

“Okay” - I reply placing a soft kiss on the top of her head
