Ryan frowned. He knew who it was referring to.

It appeared that Gideon had found out about what had happened with Nelson in Colossus Alliance.

It wouldn't be easy to resolve this.

"Alright. I understand. You can go." Ryan waved a hand and sat down on one of

the chairs in the office, looking weary.

Gideon had made it clear that he wanted Nelson.

However, Nelson was close to Russell York, the lord of Colossus Alliance. How could a mere adjutant like Ryan control such things?

However, if he did not go to see him, what would the innocent citizens in Colossus Alliance do?

Their alliance had been peaceful and harmonious, but ever since Sean had turned up and helped Russell to become the lord, everything had changed.

"I'd better make a trip there." Ryan sighed and got up to drive to Russell's villa.

The moment he arrived, he was stopped.

"Officer York, Lord York is not seeing guests today."

There was an impassive look in the eyes of the guard at the door as he reached out to stop Ryan, who had been about to enter the villa.

"I'm here to see him about something important. Please notify him." Ryan's voice was very loud. He knew that Russell hadn't been accepting any visitors lately.

It was because Nelson was there.

They probably knew that was the reason, too.

"Officer York, Lord York specifically told us that he would not be seeing anyone for

this period." The guard grinned mirthlessly. "Especially you."

Ryan's expression darkened as he gave the guard a look. He was suddenly amused. "If I remember correctly, your younger brother was infected, too, wasn't he? He hasn't drunk the potion yet, has he?"

"So what if that's true? Lord York has said that when the potions arrive today, he'll

give my brother one." The guard looked contemptuous.

"If you don't let me see Lord York today, I'm afraid no one will be getting the

potion." Ryan sneered. He sat down where he was, looking unconcerned.

After all, things had already escalated to this point.

If the potions weren't delivered to the Lordship Estate, Russell would soon come looking for him of his own accord.

"What do you mean? Do you really have the audacity to oppose Lord York?" The guard frowned and stared at Ryan, who was sitting on the floor.

"That cur is in our alliance, and Gideon wants him back. Without it, there will be no potions."

Ryan cocked his head to one side and said loudly toward the villa, "Before that cur leaves Colossus Alliance potions will cost 100,000 Cosmocoins each, and we can only buy five per day. I don't have a lot of Cosmocoins left, and even if I had any, I'd only be able to get five a day!"

He appeared to be answering the guard, but he was actually saying it for the

benefit of the two people standing at the villa's second-floor window.
