The World of Beasts: She's Got Their Hearts

Chapter 144

"I'm only here because of you, Ana. Without you... I might not even be here," Gideon said as he pulled Analise into his car.noveldrama

"This is a nice car. Have you modified it?"

Analise didn't know much about cars. However, Gideon's looked a bit like a sports car. It just didn't make an annoying roar when he sped up. There was an interface installed in the car that could be activated freely.

Gideon nodded. "Yes, I just made a few minor modifications."

In order to do experiments peacefully, Gideon's laboratory was built in a comparatively remote spot. That was why it took more than half an hour to reach Interstellar Contract Bureau from Shadowhawk Alliance.

Gideon was worried that Analise would be bored, so he found a few interstellar TV shows for her to watch.

Analise watched them for a while and realized that it was just about romance. The roles of the male and female leads were just reversed.

Of course, there were also shows about military affairs. They were about the events taking place in the various alliances of the Interstellar therian world.

The issue currently drawing the most attention was the incident regarding abilities.

"I wonder how Finlay, Scott, and the others are doing. We've been focusing so much on preparing potions that we haven't even contacted them," Analise murmured to herself as she closed the car's interface and watched the scenery rushing by.

"Don't worry. Both of them have awakened Twin ExoAbilities, and Scott is the commander. Finlay is a lieutenant. I'm sure he can deal with the issues within Stormclaw Alliance."

Gideon's hands tightened involuntarily on the steering wheel. He was right beside Analise, but she still liked Scott and Finlay more.

"That's true." Analise nodded.

The truth was that although it had only been a few days since they'd met, Analise missed them a little.

If she counted, then it would already be a month since she had arrived in the Interstellar therian world.

She had spent most of her time with Finlay, followed by Scott, and finally Gideon.

In just one short month, Analise had had three mates, all in accordance with the law.

Well, why wouldn't it be?

Even though she had lived in the Interstellar therian world for a month, Analise still found it hard to believe it when her thoughts were all over the place. She couldn't believe that she now had such a good life. It seemed that all the wishes she had once made had all come true.

Analise's lips curled upward slightly into a smile.

"What are you thinking about that's making you so happy, Ana?" Gideon noticed the slight smile on her face.

"I'm about to enter into a contract with you, and I'm happy," Analise answered without thinking.

As soon as he heard that, Gideon felt warm all over. The despondent feeling he'd just had disappeared completely, and all that was left was the joy and happiness of soon forming a contract with Analise.

"Once we've formed a contract, I'm going to take a photo and post it on Cosmoseek."

Gideon freed a hand to take Analise's hand in his. Although it sounded as if he was asking for her permission, he was actually being very authoritative.

"Okay."

Analise wouldn't stop him. It wasn't a big deal, after all.

Besides, Finlay and Scott had both posted. If she didn't allow Gideon to do so, he was sure to whine about it and get up to mischief again. He might even find an opportunity to push Scott aside again.

Analise was amused at the thought.

Gideon usually looked cold and stern. Why did his personality change so

seamlessly from one moment to the next?
