Even though Tristan was the one that was leading Leia on, I know that she was just as annoying to him. He could barely stand her. She was just an easy lay. That's all.

We both reluctantly went downstairs and everyone was down there waiting for us in the living room.

When I saw Leia sitting on the chair dressed up like a precious little doll, which we all knew she wasn't, I felt like I was going to be sick. I don't know why the hell I was even bothering with this. There's no way I was going to be paired with her. Tristan was the older one, so even if we were both going to become Alpha, he was the one that was going to be in charge. He had more power than me. Beta Brian was sitting there on the couch with Leia and his mate Ashley.

Leia stood up as soon as we entered the room and my dad smiled when he saw us and saw that we were dressed appropriately for this night.

"Hi. It's really great to see you guys again." Leia said, walking over and she kissed Tristan on the cheek and then moved over and kissed me on the cheek.

As soon as she turned her back to me, I wiped my cheek like she might have given me cooties or something.

Tristan nudged me with his elbow but I just glared at him as we went and sat down.

Tristan had to sit on the chair that was closest to them and I sat on a single chair that was near the fireplace and further away from them.

I flopped in the chair like I didn't care, which I didn't.

"So, Alpha Robert and Luna Holly were just telling us that they are planning on handing over the pack to you sooner than expected." Ashley said.

"Yeah. That's what he's been thinking." Tristan said. But I just sat there staring out the window and I started biting my fingernails.

"Well, whatever happens and no matter how old you are when you take over I know that our pack will be in great hands." Leia said.

"Yeah. With our fated mate." I said, softly. But not softly enough. Since they all heard and dad let out a slight growl warning me to behave myself.

I looked at Tristan but he looked like he was trying to warn me as well. Telling me not to piss off dad. But I didn't really care.

"Tristan, do you believe that you are ready to take over the pack?" Beta Brian asked.

"Yeah. Dad's been training me and teaching me everything that he does. I think I will be ready when he hands it over." Tristan said, leaning back in his cheair. But Leia leaned forward and held his hand while she was sitting on the chair that was just over from his.

Tristan looked disgusted just by the touch of her. That wasn't normal. He could usually fake it better than that. So he casually shook her hand off of his and leaned further back in the chair so she couldn't reach him.

"Tristan." Dad warned in a low gruff voice. I could see that he was fighting with his wolf. They were getting pissed off. And I was interested to see where this was going to go.

'Ella. Ella. Ella.' I started chanting through the mind link to Tristan, teasing him.

He shot me a dangerous glare and I just grinned at him.

He then looked over at Leia and looked away. Staring out the same window that I had been staring out.

Leia was doing everything to try and get Tristan's attention, but I knew that he hated the way that she had been behaving at school. He hates the way that she's been treating Ella. And that was for no reason at all.

Honestly, even if Ella hadn't appeared in Alaska, Tristan would never choose Leia to be Luna. She's not right for the position. She only thinks about herself and punishes people for doing practically nothing wrong. She wasn't Luna material. Our whole pack would be terrified of her.

To Tristan, she was merely a last resort when he had no one else to have fun with.

As dinner was prepared and we all sat around the dining room table, I sat on the opposite side from Tristan and Leia and I noticed that her hand was under the table at all times.

I saw Tristan squirm a couple of times, so I wasn't sure exactly what she was grabbing, but I smirked at him every time. Thinking that he deserved to be put through this hell right now.

All of our parents started talking about the succession ceremony for Alpha and Luna. And I was listening in on everything. Seeing how happy and proud the Beta and his mate were that their daughter was going to be the Luna of this pack. It made me sick and I started stabbing my food with the fork a little too hard that it kept making a horrible scratching noise on the china.

Tristan, without realizing it, was doing the same thing. Getting angrier and angrier with every moment that passed. Thinking that he was going to have to spend the rest of his life with Leia.

Dad looked at us really angrily and was about to say something when Leia got everyone's attention.

"I am not here to cause any trouble. I am not going to force Tristan into doing anything that he doesn't want to do. I can wait until he is ready to truly accept me. Please, don't be angry with the twins. I can completely understand where they are coming from." Leia announced.

"Well, that's very big of you, Leia. I wish my boys could see what a wonderful mate and Luna you would truly be to this pack." Dad said. And she smiled sweetly at him.

I can't believe he actually fell for that bullshit. He'll be sorry if this actually happens and she does become Luna.

When that long and painful dinner was finally over dad instructed Tristan and myself to escort Leia out to the car while her parents would be out soon.

So she grabbed on to Tristan's arm and we walked towards the front door.

I opened the door and walked out first while Tristan followed behind with Leia chatting away in his ear.

I suddenly got a whiff of a familiar scent and turned to look at the house next door to ours.

I saw Ella standing there with Wendy right next to her. They were leaving Wendy's house, but Wendy grabbed her and started walking around the side of Wendy's house.

I saw the look on Ella's face and it almost broke my heart. I froze where I was.
