Fiona tossed her tablet aside and ripped open a bag of chips. She didn't bother listening to Jasmine's endless chatter; it was all just hot air and not worth taking seriously.

Just as Jasmine was about to spill the juicy details, Fiona heard the bathroom door creak open. She perked up, quickly ended the video call, and carried on munching her chips like nothing happened.

Still, Jasmine's last suggestion left Fiona with a tiny itch to give it a shot.

"You're impossible!" Fiona grumbled, sitting up on the bed. She shot Jackson a look that could kill, then turned away with a huff, "Or is it you who has the problem, Jackson?"
