Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back

Chapter 374

Carter was thrilled about the assignment that Darcy had given him.

He agreed immediately.

"Sure, you can tag along with your sister, but don't go getting involved in any unnecessary trouble. Our family's roots aren't really in Ardenza. If something goes wrong over here, it's not like the Hawke Group can just swoop in to save the day. And Virell is crawling with powerful folks."

Carter huffed, "So what?"

"Some of the rich boys have family ties to the military and government. If you cross them, it could be a hassle."

Though Darcy's family was established overseas, they still had Ardenza blood in their veins, and he didn't want any friction with the circles in Ardenza.

Carter had always been a bit of a wild card, and Darcy worried about him getting into trouble in Virell.

Carter boasted, "Oh, Mira beat them up just the other day."

Darcy was taken aback. "Wait, what?"

Carter beamed with pride, "Yeah, they're all calling her the boss now."

Darcy couldn't believe it. Miranda was that formidable?

The rich boys in Virell had a reputation that even reached overseas. They were known to be tough cookies.

And Miranda managed to bring them under her wing?

RapidForce.

"Did she agree?" asked Simon, his eyes sharp and assessing.

Beck nodded, "Yes, she seemed quite interested in the department. It went smoothly."

The man in the military uniform before him was Simon, Beck's superior, ranking equivalent to a marshal, and the head of RapidForce.

"People with talent often come with challenging personalities. It's not easy convincing them to join us. Some don't even have any sense of duty totheir country, but getting them on board is a win regardless." Simon took a drag from his cigarette, eyes scanning Miranda's file.

"Make sure Miranda is officially listed under our department, so there's no poaching from elsewhere."noveldrama

"Don't worry, that's already in the works. I'm more concerned about the army trying to snatch her up," Beck chuckled.

"By the way, have you got all her prison records?" Simon inquired.

Beck confirmed, "Yes, they're all here for you to review."

"Interesting," Simon mused, exhaling smoke into the air. "Miranda is unlike the other RapidForce members. Others just have special abilities. But Miranda, she has this knack for winning people over and can turn a tough environment to her

advantage. She's got brains and leadership skills."

"Look at these folks," he gestured to the photos in the file. "They're all top-tier talents, infamous for being difficult. Yet, they've all rallied around her. People who were in the same prison with her mostly speak of her with fear. Some even admire her."

"She was once placed in the most chaotic prison block, housing special, high-risk inmates who

weren't death row but were still

dangerous. She quickly got the1

under control, earning the warden's trust. Her medical skills started gaining attention, and she was given a unique fast-track by the

authorities."

"At that time, another department was responsible for talent protection, so we

didn't hear about her until recently. Now, she's finally with us."

Simon squinted thoughtfully, "Don't you think she reminds you of someone?"
