Chapter 469 You Men Should Start Competing!
"Rowena is discharged?" Stellan was quite surprised to hear this. "Last time we went to the hospital, didn't Cormac say Rowena had to stay for three months?"
"Maybe Rowena just couldn't stand it anymore? Anyway, she's out now," Alaric said. "Let's pick up Caspian, Harry, and Elisa, and have a good celebration at home tonight."
Stellan said, "Alright."
Right now, Alaric's best friend was Cormac, and her friend was Rowena. Real friends sitting together to celebrate was the best.
Stellan put aside the unfinished work materials, and the two of them went to pick up Caspian, Harry, and Elisa.
Caspian, Harry, and Elisa were both surprised and uneasy about their sudden arrival. "Aren't the three of us banished? Why are you suddenly picking us up?" Harry asked, looking at the two of them. "You didn't have another fight, did you?"
Hearing this, Alaric and Stellan tacitly remained silent, their expressions somewhat serious.
Seeing this, Elisa anxiously guessed, "You're not getting a divorce, are you? Calling the three of us out to make us choose who to stay with?"
Alaric and Stellan were instantly speechless.
"No way, did Elisa guess right?" Seeing them both remain silent, Harry started to fan the flames. "It's over. It seems that whats shown on TV is true; no matter how romantic the love, it cannot withstand the harsh reality."
Seeing that the three of them already believed it, Stellan deliberately asked, "If your dad and I were really getting a divorce, who would you three go with?"
Caspian, Harry, and Elisa looked at each other. Caspian asked in disbelief, "Are you really getting a divorce?"
Stellen said, "Answer my question first."
Alaric also pricked up his ears, eager to hear their thoughts.
"I'll go with Mommy," Caspian spoke first.
Alaric was instantly shocked. He had raised Caspian since he was little, and now Caspian actually chose to be with Stellan!
"Then I'll go with Daddy," Elisa said.
"I'm more rational," Harry said. "I would never be the with the one who suggest divorce first. I refuse to be with someone who actively destroys a beautiful family."
Alaric couldn't help but retort, " Even if we had the thought of divorce, you should stop us in time, not answer so decisively."
Alaric then looked at Caspian and questioned, "Caspian, how have I wronged you? Why would you so readily abandon me?"
"You haven't wronged me, but when I'm with you, I'm not mentally healthy. When I'm with Mommy, everything is fine. If I have to choose one, then I'm sorry, Daddy," Caspian explained.
After Caspian explained, Stellan's fierce eyes turned to Elisa. Elisa quickly explained, "Mommy, I also really love you."
"Put away those messy thoughts. Rest assured, I won't divorce your mommy even if I die. You can be at ease," Alaric said firmly.
After he finished speaking, Caspian, Harry, and Elisa all breathed a big sigh of relief.
"Next time, can you adults not joke about this? It's really annoying!" Caspian said angrily.
Elisa said, "Yeah, I was already thinking about how to divide the assets."
"If you didn't have a fight, why are you picking us up?" Harry asked directly.
Alaric said, "There's good news, of course."
Alaric then looked at Stellan, who continued, "Great news, your dad's health has fully recovered. He won't need any more treatment."
"Really?" Hearing this, Caspian, Harry, and Elisa shouted excitedly, "Daddy's finally better!"
The three children were over the moon and screamed so loudly it felt like they might lift the car roof.noveldrama
"Tonight, Cormac and Rowena, and Aurora are coming over to celebrate with us.. You know Rowena is pregnant, so stay away from her belly and don't bump into her," Stellan reminded.
Caspian said, "Don't worry; we're not little kids anymore. We wouldn't do something so reckless."
Harry echoed, "Yeah, we'll take care of Rowena."
With Caspian, Harry, and Elisa being so sensible, Alaric and Stellan had no worries.
Tonight was like a family dinner. The chef had prepared the dishes; Alaric wanted to cook personally. When Stellan saw the busy servants in the kitchen, she suddenly thought of something, and her eyes immediately dimmed.
"Don't worry," Alaric knew what she was thinking and quickly hugged her. "I will definitely find Mia."
As long as Mia wasn't found, Stellan would never be at ease.
"Okay," Stellan nodded.
Then Cormac's family of three arrived. Since Rowena was pregnant, Cormac and Aurora were both carefully supporting her.
"You three, don't touch Aunt Rowena's belly. She has a baby in there." Seeing Caspian, Harry, and Elisa running over, Aurora quickly protected Rowena's belly.
Harry said, "We already know. Don't worry, we'll protect the baby in Rowena's belly!"
Stellan quickly came over and took Rowena's arm, saying, "Last time Cormac said you'd stay for three months; why are you out so soon?"
Rowena explained, "There wasn't much wrong to begin with. We did a check-up today, and everything is fine. The doctor said to rest more at home but also to move around appropriately."
"It's good that you're okay." Stellan quickly helped her to the sofa and brought over some pre-prepared food suitable for pregnant women.
Stellen said, "Cormac, Rowena, you two sit for a while. I'll go to the kitchen."
"No need," Cormac quickly said, "You haven't chatted for a long time. You chat, and I'll cook with Alaric."
"Let him go," Rowena pulled Stellan over. "We really haven't chatted for a long time." "Yes, I don't consider myself an outsider at your house," Cormac said. " This kind of housework should be done by us men."
As soon as Cormac finished speaking, Elisa heard it and immediately said to Caspian and Harry, "Did you hear that? In our house, there's no rule that girls have to cook. So, you two better learn quickly. Men are competing like this to find a wife. If you don't start competing, you won't find a wife when you grow up!"
What do you think?
