My Four Miraculous Treasures

Chapter 220

Hailey's ball had rolled onto the street. She ran over to pick it up.

She didn't expect to see a car coming. It almost hit her.

She picked up the ball and stood up. The black car had stopped a short distance away from her.

She held the basketball with her round chubby body. The ball was almost bigger than her.

The shock was evident in her clear and innocent eyes as she looked at the man who got out of the car.

Tyson looked around but he didn't find her guardian. He went over to Hailey and squatted down to examine her. The child wasn't hurt, but there was a look of shock on her pretty little face.

Tyson said softly, "Little girl, it's very dangerous for such a young child like yourself to be playing by the street. Where are your parents?"

The little girl had bright innocent eyes. Her fair skin was chubby and delicate. She looked like a plump porcelain doll.

It would be so heartbreaking and sad if such a beautiful child got hurt.

What kind of reckless parents would allow their child to play by the street alone? It would be too late for regrets if anything happened to her.

Hailey stared at him with big beautiful eyes. She said in a childish voice, "My mommy's at work. Grandma went out. I want to drink milk so I came to find Grandma, but I don't know where she is."noveldrama

Hailey was playing with her ball in the community area when she suddenly felt hungry for milk.

However, Lara had told her that she was going out to look for Willow's boss, so she should behave and listen to their neighbor.

Hailey was too shy to ask their neighbor for milk, so she came out to search for Lara.

She had walked two streets but failed to find Lara.

"Did your grandmother leave you at home alone?" Tyson asked.

The little girl's tender and ignorant appearance warmed his heart. Tyson

wondered what kind of urgent matter her grandmother had to attend to for her to be so careless.

To think she would just leave this child alone at home.

Hailey shook her head. She was about to say that she had brothers and a sister.

Just then, her neighbor showed up. "Hailey, there you are."

Lara's neighbor was a slender middle-aged woman. She was just as hot-tempered and energeticas Lara was. She was also one of Lara's gambling friends.

They weren't exactly on bad terms, but they weren't that close either.

She had agreed when Lara asked her to help babysit the children. However, being the carefree person that she Was, she wasn't as

It took her a while to realize that Hailey was gone.

Out of fear, she hurried out to look for Hailey because she couldn't bear the consequences if Hailey went missing.

"Why did you run off on your own? You scared me, do you understand?" The neighbor carried Hailey up.

Tyson stood up and said sternly,

"You should keep an eye on your et

child. Ifd be your loss if she ended up in a car accident while crossing the street."

The neighbor smiled apologetically. "Yes, you're right. I'm sorry for causing you trouble."

Tyson didn't say anything else since the lady was sorry. He glanced at the little girl briefly before returning to the car.

"Goodbye, Mister," Hailey said tenderly in a sweet voice.

Tyson looked back and smiled gently out of reflex. "Goodbye."

He returned to the driver's seat and drove away.

Jasper never left the car. He was tired since he didn't sleep well last night, so he was resting his eyes the whole time.

It wasn't until Tyson started the engine that he opened his eyes briefly.

While his vision cleared, he saw a woman carrying a little girl. The little girl had twin braids and a sweet appearance. She looked sweet and adorable.

Her beauty had left a deep impression on him.

Jasper recalled where he had seen her before.

He had met her while he was on his way to Nason Village to pay Yvette respects.

The little girl had said that he was pretty and wanted him to become her mother's boyfriend.

To think he would meet her here again.
