Selena's hair was tucked under a cap, and her movements were slow.

She kept her head down silently, hearing footsteps from inside the room. The door closed, and Carter came out.

The drinks had been replaced, and Carter's task was done. He counted his tips, a hefty two thousand dollars.

As he walked forward, he accidentally bumped into the cleaning lady and quickly apologized.

"Sorry about that."

Selena staggered back from the impact, dropping her mop.

Her face was smeared with black makeup and fake scars, making her look quite hideous.

Carter initially wanted to help her up but saw her groping the floor with vacant eyes. He was surprised. Since when did Sky Gallery hire a blind person?

After all, the place was frequented by important people. If she bumped into someone, she couldn't afford the consequences.

His brow furrowed, about to ask why she was there, but then two men came over and took her away.

As they disappeared down the hallway, the door behind Carter opened, and Raymond stepped out.

His gaze lingered on the spot where the cleaning lady had been, his eyes showing a hint of emotion.

"Where did that cleaning lady go?"

When you really liked someone, you could sense even the slightest change in the air when they were around.

But Raymond didn't get that yet. He just felt something was off about that cleaning lady and wanted to take a closer look.

"She left. She seemed pretty pitiful."

"Did you see her face?"

"Yeah, and she had eye problems."

Raymond fell silent. It probably wasn't her.

How could he have such a crazy thought? The person all three factions were looking

for wouldn't just show up at Sky Gallery.

"Raymond, you heading back?"

"Yeah."

Raymond was clearly not in high spirits and started walking down the hallway.

As he was about to leave Sky Gallery, he ran into Lawrence and his group.

Lawrence's expression visibly darkened, his brow furrowing.

He had been spending most of his time at the hospital lately. Tessa had been traumatized by the recent events. Even though she had woken up, she was like a

But she still liked Raymond and wanted to see him.

"You need to go to the hospital to see Tessa."

If Tessa didn't still have feelings for this man, Lawrence would never speak to Raymond again.

Raymond sneered, seeing that Lawrence had dismissed everyone else, leaving just the two of them.

"Want her to die faster?"

Mentioning Tessa filled Raymond with anger.

If he saw Tessa again, his gun wouldn't miss.

Lawrence, usually calm and composed, grabbed Raymond by the collar and slammed him against the wall.

The sudden burst of aggression between the two men scared the passersby into hiding.

"Raymond, don't go too far. If Tessa didn't still like you, do you think I'd want to see you?"

Raymond punched Lawrence in the face. "Don't flatter yourself. I can't stand the sight of anyone from the Smith family."
