Chapter 260 A Silver Lining

Liliana looked momentarily dazed. "Your studio?"

I nodded, suddenly realizing she had no idea my studio was LunaGlo.

"It's LunaGlo," I explained with a smile. "You've probably heard of it."

Her eyes widened instantly.

It took her a long moment to process before she stammered, "Y-You mean the LunaGlo? The one that's huge overseas and recently started expanding locally?"

I nodded. "Yes, that LunaGlo. You're not imagining things."

Her expression flickered between shock and excitement as if she couldn't quite believe it was real.

"But I just graduated not long ago," she murmured, still doubtful. "And I have to take care of my dad... Can I really do this?"

She couldn't believe something like this was happening to her.

I understood. Going from despair to hope felt way too surreal, like a dream too good to be true. But I needed her to know this wasn't just some fleeting illusion. This was real.

"I know all of that," I said patiently. "That's exactly why I don't want to let talent like yours slip away. If you join my studio, you can design from home while staying with your father. I can also arrange for the best caregivers in the country to help.

"As for the bone marrow transplant, I've already contacted the hospital to speed up the matching process. I believe we'll get good news soon."

The moment those words left my mouth, Liliana completely broke down. Overcome with emotion, she threw her arms around me and sobbed uncontrollably.

I gently patted her back, listening as she choked out "thank you" over and over again.noveldrama

She only pulled away when the alarm on her phone chimed, signaling it was time

to go.

Sniffing, she wiped her face and glanced at my now-damp shoulder, then gave me

an embarrassed little smile. "I... I'm so sorry..."

I glanced down at my damp

shoulder, then turned back to Liliana

with an easygoing smile. "It's fine. They're just clothes. Shouldn't you be heading back to take care of your dad asked, having noticed the reminder on her phone's alarm.

She nodded. "Yeah, he still needs someone with him for now."

"Alright then, you should head back." My voice was gentle as I lowered it slightly, adding, "Whenever you're free, just go straight to LunaGlo to register yourself. I've already made all the arrangements, so don't worry about a thing."

I let out a long breath as I watched her leave. This whole mess hadn't been entirely pointless, after all. Sure, Jack was still blindly protective of Elsa trusting her without

ver

question. But at least I had managed to help someone, and I had saved a family.

And LunaGlo had just gained a designer with limitless potential.

Shaking off my lingering emotions, I glanced at my phone. Seeing Eric's message, I turned and left the hotel.

At the entrance, his understated Maybach was parked, waiting. The moment I got

in, I met Eric's inquisitive gaze. He smirked. "So? How did it go?"

I shook my head. "It's like talking to a brick wall. He's a heartless fool blindly

protecting the wrong person."

Eric instantly understood. "Got it."

He studied my expression for a moment, seemingly surprised. "You don't look the

least bit angry. Why do you seem... happy?"

I grinned, arching a brow. "Because I am happy."

Then, I told him everything about Liliana. By the time I finished, I leaned back in

my seat, still smiling. "Tell me, don't you think I have a good reason to be happy?"

Eric nodded. "Definitely."

A playful glint flickered in his eyes. "And since you're already in a good mood, how

about I give you another reason to be even happier?"

My curiosity was instantly piqued. "Oh? Let's hear it."

Eric cleared his throat dramatically, drawing out the suspense before finally

revealing, "Cornell Group's shares have already dropped by 10%."
