Victor had already calmed Griffin down and got him to sit on the couch.

"I was out drinking with some old friends tonight. They were all praising my son for being so smart and getting into the Academy of Sciences. But then he went on a blind date and scared off the girl! I can't believe how embarrassing that is!" Griffin fumed.

Allison couldn't help but laugh; Teddy probably deserved the beating.

Victor chuckled and poured Griffin a cup of tea. "Why get so worked up? Teddy's always been against these arranged dates. It's natural for him to push back a bit." "Victor, you're the only one who gets me!" Teddy said, tears welling up.

Allison walked over and helped Teddy up.

"You should've just been honest about not wanting to get married. Look at the mess you've made. You've embarrassed your dad and grandpa. You're still young. You can't just say stuff like that." Victor asked.noveldrama

Victor's words made Teddy hang his head in frustration. He glanced at Allison, feeling the sting of unrequited love. The girl he liked was now going to be his aunt. Fate was cruel.

Alexander, noticing Teddy's look at Allison, realized the truth. Teddy had a crush on Allison.

Alexander found himself in the weird position of being his nephew's rival in love. "Alright, enough drama. I'll get you some ointment. Go take a shower and then put it on, or you'll be too bruised to face Dwight tomorrow," Allison said.

At the mention of Dwight, Teddy straightened up but still looked resentful at Allison.

Alexander snorted, annoyed, and walked away.

When Teddy came out of the shower and saw Alexander sitting in his room, he jumped.

"Alexander, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? You scared me!" Teddy yelled.

Alexander tossed the ointment to him. "Do you like Allison?"

Teddy huffed but didn't deny it. "So what if I do? Allison's amazing. But you swooped in

and took her away. I'm not okay with it!"

Teddy's frustration brought tears to his eyes.

Alexander just smiled. Allison was right; Teddy was pure-hearted and had no bad intentions.

Fuming, Alexander returned to the third floor. This whole situation was ridiculous.

In Mia's room, Allison was helping her with her homework. Allison realized that Mia was clever but easily distracted. She tailored the exercises to gradually increase in difficulty, ensuring Mia's confidence grew with each correct answer.

"Great job, Mia. Your mistake rate is going down. Keep it up, and you'll get into your dream college," Allison encouraged.
